The calf catcher, no matter what brand, mounts on the left side. Although I prefer to dismount the quad on the right, when I thought about it, they are on the left because your right hand would be on the throttle/brake/steering and you would use your left hand to release the spring loaded gate. Wouldn’t work so well the other way around.

I bought a calf catcher years ago. Life changing and saving as well. Ours has its front wheel on a swivel. Think they call it a safety zone??? Can’t do without it now. It’s from the outfit that originally built them. On its 7th calving here. We move all of our pairs out of the calving field with it into their assorted summer groups. 200+ pairs a year.
