Fixing Cold Start Rattling of Honda CR-V: Replacing the VTC Spring

Күн бұрынIn this video, I tackled the cold start rattling issue in my 2014 Honda CR-V. I initially replaced the timing chain tensioner without success and then stretched the VTC spring, but it didn't help. Check out my previous video for more details. This time, I used the Spring-Start extreme kit to replace the spring, and miraculously, the rattling sound disappeared.

No, rattling issue gone, use Spring-Start extreme kit. Or you can try a spring with little bit higher tension. But don't increase it too much,

What is the torque spec for screws on actuator ?
