In this episode we are working on my Daily! Mercedes Benz 300 tdt with a om603 engine!

Also, try doing a diesel purge with Liquimoly diesel Purge. Get 2 bottles of it, pour into a jar and put the fuel lines into it. You’ll run the engine directly on the purge additive. Cleans it right up and smooth sailing. Great car. I have 2 W123 diesels and I’m getting a 1991 300D W124 tomorrow! Thanks for posting, subscribed!

I did get that 1991 300D. Did the purge and filters. Running well! Good luck to all of you with your Diesels!!

Spark with diesel, not a big deal, It's hard to start a fire with diesel.

When my '89 300CE idles rough, I add a large container of SeaFoam injector cleaner to the fuel at fill up- works wonders to smoothe the idle. Chevron Techron works , too.

Soy un enamorado del w124 de los diesel yo tengo un 300D atmosférico 400.000 km y su embrague original el mantenimiento de este coche es muy simple pero hay que hacerlo bien yo busco siempre los filtros de calidad acompañados de un gran aceite la verdad que es una mecánica agradecida y practica yo restaure mi coche completamente y hoy es un coche de exposición todo con repuestos original saludos desde Tenerife islas canarias 👍

Definitely fan of this car and this engine (just bought the same in the 4matic version). Does yours idle roughly when the engine is at temperature too?

Sweet! Never tried the 4matic! After i adjusted it, the idle became smoothe😄

hello, with a leaking injector can be bad for the Pre-Chambers, they can over heat and melt, thats not good as the bit fall into the engine. i no that form Mercedessource on YT he's real good on old mercedes. P.S diesel will not ignite with a spark only patrol doe's

Do you use 5w40 in summer as well .? Have you used thicker oil before? Thanks for sharing, I love this car my father had it for 16 years sold at 900000kms , what a beast ! Now I have a w124 e250 turbo

Appreciate it😊 Yes, I use 5w40 all year! Haven’t tried anything else. 900000kms, thats solid!😁 Sweet the e250 turbo’s are rare in Norway!

Thank you for your reply and your passion for these beautiful machines , you think I can use liqui moly top tec 5w40 in my engine (om602 turbo ) in perfect condition keep in mind I live in morocoo it’s a little warm out here 🙏

Hey guy. Nice car! And nice rims. Please can you tell me witch size have the Rims? 16",17", 18"? What size of suspension springs du you have?

Thanks, means alot! The rims are 18''x8.5'' and i run 215/40/18 in the front and 225/40/18 in the rear. The reason for that was a tiny bit of scrubbing in the front. The springs a just pretty worn original springs, so need to swap them out soon! 😊
