Thanks for the info on the how to. I have 2008 Taurus and it had the same problem .

I had all kinds of problems getting those tube seals to seat correctly. No matter how careful I tried to be, I couldn’t get those things to cooperate (Fel-pro set.) I damaged 2 while trying to get them seated in place and I damaged 2 more while putting the valve covers back onto the car. This was not a fun project for me lol. I did learn two important things… the Ford dealership sells individual spark plug tube seals and VVT seals so you can pick them up the same day, and you should use lots of lube on all the tubes and tube seals when putting the valve cover back on the car. I know I’m not the only one who had some trouble, so I hope this helps. Good luck friends!!

Plastic Dipsticks break quite easily. However, it is just as easy to remove it before breaking. Should always star those intake bolts by hand before putting power tools on them... They're cheap and cross thread and break off .. Very informative video....

So I saw you have the same problem as me. That connector on the front valve cover. Did you figure it out, break it, or just wiggle it out of the valve cover. So much of this thing is brittle, I'm tryin not to break any more plastic parts on this thing.

You forgot to put rtv gasket sealent on the left right sides of both short length sides😱 it will leak there!

Need to put a dab of sealant on head casting area per ford
