@@StrqtegicMinecraftKZfaqr just get chord charts and play chords and notes in a certain scale/key and mess around with the rhythm and progressions of those chords. That said there are no wrong chords or keys as long as you bring it back into scale. Watch music theory videos but dont be afraid to deviate from theory to add more unique flavor and tension to your tracks

I remember my senior year in 08, we had fruit loops on a computer; and for the life of me I couldn’t make a beat to save my life but I had a guy who could do anything. Some of your “bad beats” would of been the best things I could ever make. How experience and time changes us.

A lot of the old beats are like The Neptunes, Timbaland, and Scott Storch, except the beats don’t know what they even are 😂 The good days when music theory didn’t overwhelm you and making the best beats doesn’t put you down because you’ve spent hours just listening to it.

Incredible talent. Just came across you. I used to mess around with FL Studio back in the early 2000s and it was something I thought i wanted to do until I released how much it made you work to make a beat. Seeing you do this so easily is mind blowing. Hell ya dude awesome work

I did the same but im a writer. I reworked my first book from 10y ago and was astonishing. Its a wholesome feeling talk to your younger version through a expression, like a common language to both versions of you.

Digging into old beats is my way to get around beat block. If I'm writing and it starts to feel forced, I save and open something off my old drive. Then just play with it.

I really respect the people who can store the FL project for long time. Fl studio back up plan is sick. need to package every project. I can't even delete my sample pack I rarely use because I worry I use them in somewhere. Now I don't use FL studio anymore. 😄
