I have a very similar base car (top secret R33 GTR - although mine was just a customer car tuned and maintained by them), In similar condition - not raced though, just crashed and dismantled. Finding parts, and the costs involved for labour etc certainly make the project a long term one!

While I'm fully aware of what would be involved with making the repairs properly, I personally think it's the route I would take, the kinks/crumples look bad but granted once it's structurally sound - meh, it's the quality or lack of that would bother me, what's hidden under the reinforcement plates and panels some butcher previously molested, are all the welds in all the structural areas as they should? was it sealed and protected properly? Be fairly shit if the sills and 1/4s are rusting from inside out already, BUT it's obviously never going to be a OEM concourse GTR, so while the floor looks rough it's not fuc*Ed, time and labor for guys like us is astronomical so there has to be a happy medium, 🇮🇪👍
