Once the pipes are soldered you don’t have to make sure it doesn’t leak like it it’s good to go?

If you do it first time sure, you must check it. I am 25 years do it and I know how to do it ones and forget it.

Хорошее видео. Как раз то, что я искал. Точно такой же laundry box устанавливаю скоро. И беспокоился о пластике, когда solder copper pipes. На амазоне народ некоторый сильно повреждает пластик. Вижу, что можно аккуратно сделать. Спасибо. Кстати, если я пластик прикрою мокрой тряпкой, будет лучше?

Обычно если трубы идут просто в низ к полу, то я сразу впаиваю обрезки труб длиной по 6-8 дюймов, пока ещё коробка в руках/на столе. Тогда есть возможность хорошо обмотать и намочить даже сам кран. Ну и потом уже с обрезками вставлять в трубы на соединительных муфтах (coupler). Здесь же такой возможности небыло ибо загибалась труба сразу в право.

@@FixitAll спасибо за совет. У меня как раз ситуация что я делаю новую коробку в новой стене. Так что и предполагал сделать удлинения к shut off valves, а потом спокойно приваривать к общей системе. Спасибо.

Where’s the p trap did you put it in the basement? And the mini vent is that because you don’t have any venting?

Went pipe you can see in first seconds of the video. It was cut off and removed during installation wide window. P-trap just 2 foot below the valve box.

What is the jelly that you put into the and around the copper pipes? Around the 4:20 mark.

@@FixitAll The water lines for these boxes are coming from below. Mine are above coming down. We have a drain hose draining to a laundry tub.

I really and truly dislike a laundry room without a sink. How do you rinse any thing, prewashing is out the window. Washing machine nowadays turn off the water when you open the lid. So if get soap on your hands you have to ran to a different room to wash. Pain in the ........
