Don't use brake clean on a painted surface. Maybe spray a little water and a toothbrush.

I just replaced all 4 seals on my 2010 FJ. I used a plastic bicycle tire tool for removal and it worked ok, but I’d note that : 1) the front seals were trickier, both old ones breaking on me. At the end I realized that, after pulling out the retaining connectors, it was better to SLIDE and lift those brittle old ones to maybe avoid breaking? 2) When seating the new front ones, make double sure they fully seat. Mine just didn’t look seated quite right and I finally got it by popping it down across the middle several times with my palm. For me, it was a pretty subtle difference, but definitely needed. (Maybe it’s just ME and MY vehicle?) Thx... hope it’s clear enough.

Thanks. I noticed today that the same window on my 2010 FJ has the same amount of wear. They way I normally park means that spot is always in the sun when at my house. This looks even easier than I thought it was -- but -- what is that plastic tool called?
