Thanks these little individual tool tutorials help, especially since they're so many of them in FL.

I found this to be really helpful for me. I was a person who didnt understand the granulizer at all. I wished the video was clearer and I wished a it showed a beat made using it

@sorajsm Totally. Just use the built-in "Sampler" channel instead of the Granulizer tool. That will give you both. time and pitch when you mess with the pitch knob. Thanks for your question.

Great tutorials man. I never quite got the hang of the granulizer other than for making random weird noises and I probably still won't know what to do with it after watching this vid. But it's interesting anyway and you make it fun.
@JohanBrodd15 жыл бұрын
You can also create a granulizer for a sample by right clicking on the sample in the directory lists to the left (F8) and select Granulizer.

It's a hard choice. I had a lot of samples, but I needed something with an even mix of recognizable voice and also a constant tone/noise section.

Man , i didn't know this was so useful , i been all around looking for away to pitch a sample with out loosing the tempo or changing the BPM ! The only thing i ever used it for was to re synthesize a sample in order to utilize it in chords on the original chord progression ? i still have yet to master that trick , takes time i guess but i'v always loved your tutorials man ! Ima Miss Nfx to tho bro , he's shutting warbeats down :( Idk , anyways , thanks for the Vid bro ! Peace!!!!

@acedrumsnyc Treat the default settings as though they were baseline. A sample should should sound pretty true to the original when played at middle C on the keyboard. Use Middle C as the note you experiment with. That should help.

You did some pretty good examples with your own mouth lol. Sounded almost real. lol. This is helpful. I'm trying to figure out how to make my voice real deep kind of like how Birdman and Wayne do in "Pop Bottles". Can you point me in the right direction?

xD the time of a sample dont change too if u only use the pitch button left from "mul" and "time" thats a lot faster xD

@AcePincter Hey, nice tutorial and I thank you for it. How do I connect the granulizer with my sample?
@dutchhaze115 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the video! I have a question though.... When I'm triggering two different Granulizer channels, once I let the key go on one channel it cuts off the other channel that's playing. How do I make it so I can trigger one key and another at the same time but have it not cut off both keys when I let the key go?

Hey Ace, Great tutorial on the granulizer. I'm still trying to learn how to use it. is there any way you could give me a base line settings that I could start with. I can't see in the video what all the controls are set to. Then I could slowly and incrementally play with the other controls so I could start to understand it better? Thanks
@AcePincter16 жыл бұрын
can't. But, you can download "KTGranulator" which is a pretty good granulizing effects VST. Free. Granulizer only accepts samples.
