I would love if Gross Beat had a option to change the affected buffer! To have the option of a a bigger or smaller buffer means a lot more creative freedom

Gross Beat is my all time and old friend ;) most people doesn't know the magic it gives us back to our sound, I mean fl users most of the time ignore gross-beat and they go for 3rd-party plugins, but I always told others that stick with it because It looks simple but I felt the power of it already, I love FLs Native Plugins, because they are complete, we think they are cheap but in fact It's great

i enjoy it without understanding it, it's a Christopher Nolan film to me.

Would love an option to extend the audio buffer, as well as lock gross beat to the timeline instead of filling the buffer from wherever the playhead starts from. Currently if I press play and the playhead isn't on the downbeat of 1 the output changes which can be a little frustrating :)

This is not just some new video, but its remake. Because the review on Gross Beat was like a long time ago - in 2010. Well, a little afterword - Wasp and Wasp XT did not get a vector interface, while all other plugins use it.

Aside from love comments about awsome job Imageline did and doing,(Which is true BTW), FOR ME, Grossbeat is the last option for audio manipulation. I use Sequent 2, Effectrix or Maudio plugins for manipulation and LFOtool for sidechaining. IMO -Editing the points position is a bit time consuming. -These diagonal stuff is not much intuitive and are confusing. -can't apply effects on more than 4 beats. I hope it get better in the future.

It is a bit like LFOTool but i don't think that GB can send MIDI CC messages to other plugins to modulate them. ( and Grosbeat is an effect and i do knot know whether it accepts MIDI or only Audio.). Will try it,

I always use it for making my samples half-speed, others use 3rd party plugins for half-timing they think gross beat is cheap, but I use gross beat forever.

Hey fl studio, please help with this little problem im having... You see since i updated to 21 it's been amazing to have all the wonderful projects be organized. But man i have like 500+ projects from fl20. Please tell me theres a certain tool to automate the migration of these projects into the new organized form, without having to individually open up then save all of them, which indeed take a shit amount of time. Edit: also please add a way to configure computer keyboard or touchoad as xy control or more importantly a mod and picth wheel control

Could you please create a FL patcher tool that enables divisi polyphonic playing? I would like the tool to support multiple instruments, and when I play a chord, the instruments should be distributed throughout the chord in a divisi manner.

Great tutorial. But wouldn't it be easier if, rather than slope, Y-axis line position itself was playback speed? A horizontal line would be constant speed, (halfway up the y-axis is 100%, & higher or lower is faster or slower). That way if a line slants or curves it creates a change in speed ove time (more like traditional automation).

Grossbeat is extremly powerful but I have noticed some things that bugs me since basiclly 10 years (lol I am still a noob in producing but I've learned audio-engineering and mastering with FL Studio) but when I produce something, Grossbeat is only in sync when you press STOP twice and replay it from the beginning. Which sometimes ends up in a different sound, especially also sometimes when you export something and select "sound selection" instead of "full song". Also I think it is not really useable in the production, because of its buffer and not being in sync. It is very useable to manipulate sounds, export them and then re-import them, to work with them again. Also used by producers: the exact same export-import-export-import etc. technique, because stacking the VST will end up in a different sound. This should be improved.

Guys the CTRL + Z function doesn't work when using a FL plugin after a third party plugin in the same mixer channel, I dont know if this has always been the case but please fix it.

Can someone pls explain to me why after the latest update/installation fl keeps “refreshing browser” and keeps looking for audio files while I always save everything as a zip file?!? Refreshing browser freezes whole daw and it is really annoying! What can cause that? Anyone has an idea 💡 Thx in advance!

I just hate how buggy gross beat is, it has a very hard time keeping synced if you adjust parameters in other plugins while the song is playing

The sidechaining is really tedious. If I want to make changes or adjustments to my curves it's annoying that I have to copy the first beat all over again to the rest. Maybe let us choose the frequency of the effect for example repeat after every 1 beat/2 beat instead of the default 1 bar unit.

FL Studio still can't record the oputput of Midi generators! It's quite annoying to me to be honest! It's such a basic feature. 😮 I tried with LoopMidi for hours but it's just a mess with FL crashing due to Midi feedback loops it's just not working in a practical way. I hope Imageline does something to improve FLS Midi implementation Midi should really just work at this point it's a decades old standard. So please... 🙃
