Yeah man, makes using this thing a lot more flexible since there are times when I want to combine patterns

That automation tip, taught me that I don't have to open multiple gross beats to use different presets on the same instrument. Just right click and create new automation clip.

Absolutely needed this one, I was stuck on a project not knowing how to manipulate specific knob values with peak controller and volume automation, to create modulating stutter effects

Navie D. I have a list actually lol. How to make a song with space for the artist. Or song structure without getting monotonous. How to have multiple instruments and not make them clash. How you generally start and finish a beat in FL, your process, how you think. How producers make a song feel full but not over saturated so much for an artist to feel overwhelmed? Any of these would be very interesting.

I think you have to buy the vst from image line or their might be a to edition that comes with it, I usually just render it as a audio clip

Yeah that's because it needs to take a bar to figure out what audio to reverse. You might be better off just manually reversing the sample maybe?

you can play it for 2 bars while recording it on Edison then the second bar in the record in Edison will start normally then you can loop that part.

At that point, I would either go into the Gross Beat pattern and erase everything but the 4th measure (erase as in put it back to the straight default line), or you could just turn the dry/wet knob all the way down and automate the dry/wet so it goes full wet in the 4th measure.

just add another gross beat in the stack. it would be easier , and also u can't automated preset changes

Its quiet when it starts then the sound plays after. Is there anyway to make the sound play in reverse from the start

Yeah, Gross Beat works on a 1 bar loop. So if you half time, the second half of your pattern will not get played. You can try playing around with the BPM, reprint the same, etc. Gonna have to use a workaround if you want to Halftime the whole thing

Yeah exactly, if you want a momentary switch up part-way through the beat for example, using automation can help you with that

@@NavieD i figured it out and got the effect to play at a certain part of the melody. But, the way it sounds from me playing the song from the beginning versus me playing the song just before the effect plays sounds pretty different. Idk if that makes sense but idk how to fix it

Most likely the reason you are running into this is because your sound isn't starting at the very beginning of the bar. Half time takes whatever is playing in the first half of the bar and stretches it out over the full bar. So if you have a gap in the beginning of your bar before a note plays, that also gets stretched

Sounds like you have the gross beats on your master track. Make sure the plugin is only on the instrument or bus track you want it to effect.
