I was raped at 13 by the "reverend" of the church and became pregnant. I told my parents immediately and when confronted by my father he lied. I was shamed, outcasted, and put in a sanitarium because they though I was crazy. I lost my baby and lived on the streets until God brought me an older woman to help me. Im 45 and born and raised in LA. I grew up with my mom so addicted to white jesus she sanctioned paedophiles around me and my bro constantly. One day the adopted daughter of the Pastor of our church ran to my parents home a mile away barefoot , feet bleeding half naked clothes ripped and told my parents the pastor, his father, and his brother were having sex repeatedly with her and she had ran for her life before another act commenced. She was 15. My brother and i were watching her literal mental and spiritual breakdown through the window as she told my parents hoping theyd call the police and my MOTHER took her BACK THERE and kept us in that church for 7 yrs! The daughter molested me at 3. The SMELL in these ppl’s house was literally un describable. This ish is fqing insane and disgusting. I cant talk to my mother this very day. Shes still bible thumping with NO discernment or common sense and STILL lies about her part in it but blames the children who molested other children bcuz of the abuse. This lady has “been in church” over 65 yrs, 3 degress (super intelligent book smarts) but her meter is permanently stuck stuck on stupid. Pls keep doing what youre doing, dawson...we ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ you!

I truly do thank God for your videos and I am encouraged by your boldness! I recently started doing audio video on my Facebook page regarding my journey in the church and how my restoration and healing came when I spent a season away from the four walls. While some people assume that I am trying to tell people not to go to church, that is not the case. I share my journey hoping that those in my situation or similar will become aware of what they are embracing and be restored. My soul was destroyed because I was trying so hard to fit in with a culture that was basically a cult and for years was in denial about it. So true that everyone claims to be prophets/prophetesses but no one knew that all this foul stuff was going on in the “house of God” ? I used to feel terrible when I missed a Sunday or Wednesday night at church. Now I sit and wait to hear from God. If i need to be there to hear a specific word, I go. My family and community did nothing although they had suspicions. My mother blamed me and tried to attack this truth. Do I have faith? Yes! The faith to act by reclaiming my power through healing and reaching out for support and resources (starting when I was 17; now I'm 50) to reconnect with the Highest Self that God created each of us to be. This is so sad and embarrassing. I don’t usually come across SDA scandals like this. But men (and women) need to learn to have morals, and respect boundaries. People are getting locked up for things that have been a quiet norm for yrs. and i bet ALOT of people knew wat was going on and that they too were involved as well. I live in a predominantly black neighborhood with ALOT of West Indians and they ALL b looking at little girls like fresh meat. I recall being hit on by many when i was underage.
