Fungi - too funny! I looked it up on the computer just for kicks and giggles - I heard "funge i" then "foongee" and "fun gi"... looks like it's up for grabs! I love these banners! I'm making an 'exploding box' with a fancy mug in the middle and hot cocoa, tea and coffee in layers (12 Days of Christmas advent) - these banners would dress it up nicely without being too bulky. What fun! Thanks for the ideas! 🤩

Julie, I loved this one! I liked the matchy matchy one the best. Losing things... I'm so over it already. I'm ridiculous, my husband's desk is in the other room and he probably thinks I'm nuts, I talk to myself and my Freya cat, who lays on a cushion next to me ON the desk, and watches me craft, and lose things. There's just so much stuff with JJ. ( But we love it all.) Thank you for every video...you are my favourite KZfaqr!! ❤👍😁

Hi Mari, so happy you like them love. Yes i have a tendency to go matchy matchy, but i loved Melinas non matchy matchy ones. I lose everything including my marbles. Aww your Freya Cat sounds adorable. Phoebe used to lie at the craftroom door, Nala does too now, on a paper bag. But if i step onher bag as i walk past and dare to crickle it, she pounces on my feet😽😽😊😊🤗🤗💜💜

Hi ya Camelia. I'm English but live in Australia the last 53 yrs. My daughter and myself rescue animals cats mainly but a snake last year . We have vet friends and I now have 18 rescue babies . My eldest now is 16 my youngest 7 months now . I raised 3 one day Olds from the floods here in NSW Australia. I'm now subscribed to you . Nice that you have kitties like us . I journal make for hobby. I'm from Birmingham. My aunt Halifax. I lost my girl Jessie Bear and my spider last year aged 13 and 12. Cancer . I love your channel thankyou. @@CameliaCraftsDesigns hi it's Karen. I rescue parrots and Maggie's also la lot of other native birds . The snake went to my vet friend . My hubby who is Australian screamed his head off. It was a python not poisonous. It was hurt . An eagle had dropped it in our yard or someone who new what we did. Thankyou you have a beautiful cat . Karen in Australia 🐨🦘🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🇭🇲😸

I haven't heard fungi pronounces funji here in the US. If I heard someone pronounce it funji, I would have thought they were from another country or English was their second language. Loving this banner project and can't wait to make some of my own! Bye the way; I'm loving my new left-handed scissors!

I misplace so much while designing. Finally started keeping a work basket (6x6) on my work table to and toss tools etc. in it as I create. Kind of a simple idea but has been very helpful for mr.

I saw another youtuber do that once, then i got a little basket and misplaced the basket😶 i have a terrible habit or rearranging and reorganising and forgetting where i put stuff and i'd stuffed in in a drawer to look tidy😘🤗😶💜

Very cute idea, Julie. I am so lazy these days, die cutting is too labor intensive for me. 😉 I just finished a Seaside journal for my beach-loving sister and need a recovery period. I have dies I rarely use. Loved when your hemp string ran away from you. Next time, treat it better. It might stay around longer. 🤣🤣 Got to the fungi pronunciation topic and your revelation. Reminded me of the first time I realized that grateful is NOT spelled greatful. I had been spelling it wrong for 29 years and nobody ever corrected me. Don't you think it should be spelled with "great" in it? I do. I still spell it wrong sometimes, intentionally. What is it about the fascination with mushrooms? I sat out butterflies. I will sit out mushrooms and toadstools, too. Until it passes or I am 75, whichever happens first.

Oh Julie, how do you come up with so many “Julie-isms”?! I keep saying I’m going to write them down, but I forget them before even reaching for a pen!! My Lady-dog keeps wondering why, in a very quiet room, I keep bursting out with laughter?! She looks at me like I’m crazy! 😊🙃😋I try not to get caught up in the matchy-matchy thing but I liked the last one the best, with the 3 beige ones & 2 black ones! I think I had a choker like that back in the dark ages. Remember chokers?! They were mostly very ugly! I lose stuff on my desk daily, also, & mine’s just a coffee table, so I should be able to keep track of things…it’s just amazing how much stuff we get out for one silly little project, but as you say, a girl’s gotta have options! And then if I don’t put things away, the next project is messier… till pretty soon I can’t even see the table. I lead such an exciting life! Have great weekend! Erica❤

Love these❤️. I’m in the US and I’ve never heard of funji. Fungi is the plural of fungus. I’m a southern girl and usually we tend to say things different🤣😂. I say fungi.🌴

So cute! I made something like this for my daughter's wedding shower invites 😀. Someone might have said this, but you can make waxy thread but just pulling it through beeswax...even a beeswax candle. Just press o e end of the thread under your thumb onto the wax and pull it through. To wrap it use a dowel or a pencil and wind it in an "x" form not just round about...does that make sense?? I found a beeswax candle at a yard sale or a thrift shop...can't recall exactly. Also the "g" is before an "i" so, in general it's soft. Like the g in giant. I only know that from teaching my kids Latin when I homeschooled them a million years ago. I cant remember why I walked in a room, but I remember that??🤪🙃🤣😎 Happy Crafting!

I am in US. It has always been pronounced fungi, as you do. But some Americans pronounce it funji for who knows what reason.

You made me chuckle with your left handed advice ...The video looks like you are using your left hand to thread....Do you wear your wrist bands on your left or right( because in the video to me) they are on your left? lol So I (as a left handed person was comfortable that you were going the left handed way with regards to threading! That comes from my Cross stitch days probably. I had a floor standing frame and used both hands to get finished quicker 😅 Also recently I had a scathing comment from a lady who didn't appreciate a comment about left handers and scoreboards😐 She obviously doesn't get my humour and doesn't watch regularly. Anyway I just thanked her and sent her a link to the left handed scissors giveaway, after it had closed if course😘☺️🤗💜

American way here. I've heard the "new" pronunciation but assumed it came from the European side of the world. For me, it's Fun-GUY not funji.

Yes, it's amazing how often we say the same things differently, but pronouncing fungi that way was a new on on me😅 Some if my ladies in the US agree on fungi😁☺️🤗💜

I would think since fungi is a spin off the word fungus that it would be pronounced with the hard G & not the soft G! How odd that she would have said it funji!
