I would also like to add that an american flag made in America is certified if you know where to look on the flag. These flags are possibly made in China. I bet you own some, yourself. So they burnt some poor quality flags that aren't true american, so what's the big deal? The symbolism? Yes of course it is.. Its like George Carlin said, Symbols are for the symbol minded lol. I come from a family of people who served, my grandfather was a Korean war vet, and im a a leftist at that but i hold my grandfather very high! He never pushed his patriotism on us in the family and allowed us to express our own individuality. That makes us the true Americans. My immigrant great grand parents on both sides are laughing at you..

They need to make burning the American flag (or any national flag) in public illegal. I understand that people think Israel is evil for attacking Palestine back and killing innocent civilians, but we must wake up and smell the coffee in that Palestine attacked Israel first and as sad and upsetting as it is, that's what happens during a war, just as how innocent people died when the atomic bombs were dropped on Japan in 1945, yet it led to the end of World War II. I am hoping and praying that this war ends soon and I will always be for Israel!
