Flair 58 Day 1 - Unboxing and first espresso

After using Flair Pro 2 for almost two years, I've decided to upgrade to Flair 58. Join me in unboxing and assembling it in this video. I'll then pull my first shot which, admittedly, went much better than I was afraid of (it was horrible with Pro 2).

Thank you for the slow and steady walk through. I was haven’t a heck of a time figuring out how to attach the pressure gauge and was making it harder than it was! Not many videos on this latest model.

Stark hab auch die Gaggia und überleg jetzt die Flair zu holen für high end espresso und die Gaggia iwann durch die Profitec Go zu ersetzen

Thanks for the video Is it better for espresso than your gaggia ? How finer the grind should be ?

Significantly better. With Gaggia it was hit or miss. If you have the high flow basket, you need to grind significantly finer. But they started shipping with the basket with a narrower base, so the grind does not have to be too fine.

Hi, Hab eine generelle Frage zu der Flair 58. Ist das normal, dass Geräusche aus der Brüheinheit zu vernehmen sind während der Aufheizphase obwohl sich noch kein Wasser darin befindet? Habe meine Flair seit gestern und heute das 3. mal damit gebrüht und dies bemerkt.. danke für ein Feedback. VG

Yeah, that’s on me. The AI voice sounded okay to try out but didn’t do well when scaled up to the whole video. I don’t think I’ll use it this much again.

@Colors of Sound the pronunciation was really good. Hopefully they can add voice inflection as time goes by
