Thank you for the review. I may pick up the book but I have to say my D-Day book has more fun formations and the extra 1AT in the higher units does not really cover the cost. I will reserve judgement till I see a few games but I have to say the D-Day book was fantastic and had so many interesting formation. I was hoping for better aircraft as well.

I can see what you mean, but there's certain some interesting options here. As you say, keep an eye out and see if the book is for you, if it gives you new ways you want to play, if not? Well, we don't have to buy every expansion! 😊 Thanks for watching.

@@thedicegodswg I plan on getting the book anyways. I am stuck in my D-Day ways with a Parachute company, one sherman group, churchill crocs, and some M-10's.

Alas so, there's a nice spread of options here, just not the granular, historical options that separate MG and Bulge books would bring.

You might do a review of Bulge cards. There are some wonky options (recce, recce and some more recce)

I want more control over what formation looks like, I'd like individual points for individual units so I can be my own commander not a historical commander

I think that there are systems which offer that granularity, but FoW is aiming to be more accessible than that.
