I think the random nature of the playing of cards could be fixed by using a first player marker so that instead of revealing cards at the same time, players can react to what the first player have done to make it more tactical and less luck driven. Just ordered this game.

When you coming round to play some games, Steve? Ave Caesar is another similar game that we play more than this. Mainly because it’s so easy.

Great review! The biggest downside in my opinion is all the shuffling of cards. The game is easy to grasp, and it's always tense in the end like you say, but personally I can't stand the constant shuffling of cards. I might only give it a 6/10 because of this :)

You’re right! Cards seemed to fly off the player boards quite a bit. In the end we put them back in the box...

actually, yeah it's not so bad. the artwork looks very 50s or 60s
