In the extended cut they get married. 12 years later she wins the time machine in a divorce. She goes back in time and stops the whole thing from ever happening. Since he created it, he just makes another time machine and goes back as well. Then they fight through time like War of the Roses or Mr. and Mrs Smith. Please make this film 🤘

And that one worked, which is why he kept it in the "script" --- the other lines were still a work in progress. He was eventually going to say the right thing. It was only a matter of time.

I was about 7 minutes into this short when I realized something... the male lead can ACT. Seriously, when I first saw him dressed 'as Bond' and saw how he looked so stiff and out of place and his dialogue was stilted I thought, "Oh well, I'll watch this because I like time travel not because I'm expecting good acting." Suddenly, I noticed I had forgotten about the first couple of minutes and was 'buying into' HIS story... the story of a person seeking to correct a perceived mistake so he could win his heart's desire. KUDOS!!!!

0:44 I thought the same. "That......would have ruined the evening." I thought, "I........am not a good actor." But then I realized later he is a good actor. He is acting like a person trying to be cool. :)

I have watched about 50 of these short stories. This one speaks to so many of our most personal dreams and fantasies. It's reminiscent of the innermost thoughts we would not dare share with anyone because there has been someone in each of our lives that we felt that way about. It is both poignant and humorous and sad. To be able to capture all that in just 12 minutes is a magnificent feat.

The writing in this film does a great job of breaking the viewers' expectations, whether they be good or bad. The characters are also very dynamic, which keeps the audience engaged and invested in the story.

One of the best time travel stories because the time machine or time travel was integral to the story as compared to fish-out-of-water scenarios, closed loops storyline, and does address fate vs. free will through the succession of "nice guys" montage.

"You're a nice guy, _____"; that line cuts to my core. 1st. Why in the world would you not want a "nice guy"? 2nd. Its the very fact that girls like her are uninterested in the "nice guy" that "nice guys" become douchebags. Conclusion: Girls who aren't interested in "nice guys" are the wrong girls. Desire: Because "nice guys" were nice from the beginning, I wish every girl who thought like this at one point in their life were just unable to land a nice guy in the end because they don't deserve them. You shouldn't get to go through the worst and get a nice guy when you're done with the bad.

Looks like he just went back in time by only 2 hours to try the date over again. Scott, Scott, Scott, when will you learn? Women! You can’t live with ‘em; you can’t live without ‘em... And it looks like you’ll be working the Game of Hope for a while longer. But look at it this way: when you get tired of the chase, you’re going to have one hell of a novel to sell. Keep the LV duds and you should have success on the book signing tour(s)... I’m telling you Scott, one of the most efficient ways to time travel and/or find true love is through a good book. Meanwhile, it’s your good fortune that Mr. Chen got you launched on your true path. Drop back sometime, OK?
