Man this is scary. In the 1950s when my dad was a small child, he and one of his older brothers were sent to California from Mexico to live with their uncle after their mother died. A similar scenario to what Sam said 3 minutes in. The fact that America acted less racist towards him in the 1950s than what they're doing now to Hispanic people is startling. Who knows what would have happened to my father and uncle? They would have been thrown into these detention camps and forgotten about like these poor children.
