I’m sorry to hear that! I have experienced it first hand myself. Don’t believe that he is happier with the new wife, bcuz most likely it’s a facade just for show. Some men think that “The grass is always greener on the other side”, til they get to the other side.But by then it’s too late, so they have to lie to themselves. Or admit they were wrong. most will never do that! They don’t have much of anything in common bcuz they are at different places in their lives. So outside of the bedroom they may struggle to have a meeting of the minds. By the time the new wife realizes that he is getting older quickly & she is just reaching her prime, she begins to feel the age difference. You had him during his youth, & she is having your leftovers! If she’s ok with that & wants to play nurse maid to him in his old age then that’s her choice. But he will probably be constantly worried that she may leave him for a younger man. This will weigh on his mind, wether he admits it, even to himself, or not. If he creates another family with the new wife, then he has more mouths to feed, so he probably won’t retire as young as he’d like. The fact that he will probably have grandchildren from your kids, older than some of his younger children will still not change the fact that he is still a grandpa! Lol! Some men just get caught up in their own ego & “Can’t see the forest for the trees!” You rest easy in the knowledge “That what goes around comes back around!” Just ask Justin Timberlake!😂 I hope this cheers you up a little & that you realize that you’re still a vibrant woman with a full life ahead of you! So don’t sit around thinking about him & her. Live life with your children & grandchildren, if you have any. Live your best life doing things that interest you. Living happy is the best revenge!! Believe me he will notice when you’re not sitting around & he realizes you’ve gone on with your life without him. He will feel what he has lost, & if he doesn’t then he wasn’t worth having in the first place! Just one last note: Try to maintain civility for the children & grandchildren. There will be family events in which you will both want to attend. Be gracious, & be the better person. Your children & grandchildren will still love both of you. Don’t make them choose sides.
