Maybe that's how he gets his Venom, if we were to include the comics and animated series into it. My understanding would be that his natural body couldn't sustain much more punishment in the pit, and so when he escaped and became the mercenary in this film, I believe that Venom was put into his bloodstream, and the mask helps provide it a little bit.

@@thehawk5141 That's because he was made to be the weakest. He was made to be the most realistic Bane. No stims or any drugs. Same with Batman. "You don't fear death, you welcome it" So when Bane said he came to die with his city he thought Bruce still longed for death but Bruce said no, he has a new appreciation of life and he wants to fight for it. This is such a good finale. The cops come back and fight for a battle of true justice. We get Batman fighting Bane in the day (which he never does.) Because bane says he owns the darkness, Batman challenges him during the day where he’s not as comfortable. And they fight on the steps of city hall, a symbol of the system and justice. Such good symbolism and a good finale. Also some extra symbolism of the prison Bane puts Bruce in being the Lazarus pit. Because once Bruce emerges from it, he’s reborn. The Lazarus pit isn’t actually a pit that restores your health, it’s symbolic. Also, we see Bane fight very calmly and collectively the entire movie up until now. This version of Bane is honestly pretty tame compared to the comics. But right at the end when Bane is in agonizing pain, we see him fight the most wildly and powerfully we have all film. In the comics Bane takes a steroid called Venom which makes him super strong. In this movie, Banes venom is pain and suffering, that’s what gives him strength. Good symbolism

This fight is incredible. From the way the fight starts where Batman and Bane are trying to find each other, to the breaking of Bane 's mask, and his epic berserk moment. Yes, when looking at some of the extras they can look really obvious that they are not hitting their punches, but you have got to appreciate some of them who went above and beyond. Some of the ones I found was the cool dodge to the right at 4:15, the guy in the yellow hoodie pummeling the ever-loving shit out of that guy at 3:36 (who returns for a brief cameo at 4:00), and the guy to the right at 1:53 who straight up picks another guy off the ground. I encourage others to find more of these hidden gems, as they are true gold.
@Slask74 жыл бұрын
amen. Everyone thinks this scene looks silly and "every" single extra in the background throws soft punches... too many people used to CGI battles, where everything looks perfect but empty and definitely faker than this. You can't avoid some extra from being caught on camera with fake moves, but it's a 2000 people battle, for God's sake....

Notice how during most of the fight, Bane is in control and takes on Batman with ease. But when Batman breaks Bane's mask, he loses that control and becomes more aggressive (caused by pain). I just noticed that and it's really cool.

Tactically speaking the police did what is considered a viable tactic for this situation. It’s called “Human Wave” or “Mass Assault” the concept is to drown an entrenched opponent in bodies and engage in close quarters. It’s the epitome of “They can’t stop us all.” Most of these officers lacked a ranged weapon but had a melee weapon; something which their opponents seemed to lack. Once the forward most gunmen make contact with the wave the men in the “reserve” have to move up to reinforce them, lest they risk being overrun. Shooting in this situation is a horrible idea as friend and foe are oftentimes attached to each other in a fight to throw the other man to the ground.

This right here (aside from the rest of the epicness) is why I freaking love Hans Zimmer so much. His music synergizes to what we’re watch _so. Damn. Well._ The bulk of this fight is predominantly horns aided by percussion but the instant the music drops n changes to heavy intense drums is exactly timed with him going berserker and it makes the audience almost _feel_ the impact of his fists because of the music. Absolute master tier composure. The *only* god-tier composure who (I believe) can beat him is John Williams. But yeah this was a great ending to one of the best trilogies ever.

Interesting to note that even in Nolan's "realistic" Batman universe, traces of the original villains still remain. In the cartoons, Bane is made much weaker when his venom lines are cut. In Nolan's Batman, Bane is made weaker by his ventilators being cut. The weakness is actually the same, just adapted to fit the universe more accurately.
