Not to take away the glory and effort of the creators, but this is a common occurrence more and more in productions these days; Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, Star Trek, Atlantis: The Lost Empire, John Carter, Avatar, Harry Potter, Game of Thrones, Alien Nation and Penny Dreadful just to name a *few*. It's a big thing in books and has been so for a long time too. It is indeed a very interesting aspect of world creation and lore.

Dan N I thought it was alright. I enjoyed it, but was extremely dissapointed, knowing the film that we ALMOST got. The version that revolves around Joker, instead of Enchantress as the villain...

I SO very much wish a "Teach Yourself Kryptonian" book would come out! IMO Christine Snyder's glyph system for the language is perhaps the most beautiful & logical system for alien writing I've ever seen, surpassing even Tolkien's Elvish script.

I think they mean glyphs vs sounds. Most romantic languages use a phonetic system. So they're saying Krypton is more like Ancient Egypt or modern China where they use pictures to represent whole words.

Superman was a good movie for the first movie attempt but sadly , Superman fell into the marvel world too much. Also, there is no way batman or any of the hero fantasy characters can defeat Superman.

This is all very cool, a lot of thinking went into Krypton. Unfortunately none of it really matters beyond the big shapes and color choices; all the language stuff is lost on an audience who has no information about the script nor the overall design sensibilities of the civilization that spawned the language. It's a micro-example of why MAN OF STEEL doesn't quite work as a movie let alone a Superman movie: attention was paid to things that don't matter and not paid to things that do, in the narrative, in the pacing and intent for the thing. Incredibly well-designed alien world with intricately-made background elements that explodes 15 mins in was given more thought than Zod's takeover of Earth.

PureChaos Grace Randolph did an interview with the CGI team of MoS/BvS/Justice League, And they confirmed they had to rush some scenes to be put in trailer and they do keep working on cg for long time and stop month or two before the Movie comes out
