With Flashzilla Lite is there a way to read what tune/or stock is on the vehicle? I flashed TCU and it added gear selection P/N/R/123456 but I flashed back to stock and it still has gear selection option so I don't believe TCU has returned to stock, but Flashzilla Lite doesn't make it clear anywhere which tune(s) ECU/TCU are actually loaded into the vehicle or if it's on stock. Am I missing something?

I’m not a mechanic so I’m having the pipes installed by a local guy. He is cuban so I he won’t be able to read or understand the instructions for the flashzilla tune install. Personally, I watched the video, and didn’t get anything out of it. My only option is to get someone who knows what they’re doing help out. Can you suggest anything? The car is a 2012 Touareg TDI and I have the stage 2 kit.

Can you save the tune file to a laptop or do you only go through the portal? If the portal is not available for some reason, then how do i switch my tunes?

You don't need a VCDS cable to flash your car with FlashZilla Pro :) However, if you are looking to do custom ECU tuning, then you will need to provide data logs. In that case, a tool like VCDS would be required.

not very complete instructions, like how and where to store tune on PC since I'm and Apple computer user I need more detail...then he didn't mention car should be off however I read this on instructions for previous TuneZilla I purchased. I read these instructions and watched some video and never was comfortable doing this on a PC.

Tunezilla is windows only. Says it on the website before purchase.

Wait so i have to pay 600 dollars for the device and then another 500 dollars for the tune through you guys? This is fuckin ridiculous

Depending on the place you purchased they’ll give you a coupon that takes off the 500. I got one through purchasing my tune through rawtek. I checked my junk mail I bought the tune from the rawtek site from and they gave me a voucher coupon

No, you pay for the tune and that’s it, they’ll email you a “tune credit” when it ships and it should be how you pay for it through the app. Video didn’t explain that part.

@@Fast_Lane Yeah, this video didn't explain a whole lot of stuff. What if I'm doing this at midnight on Saturday. Do I have to wait all weekend to get my files. My car isn't drivable?

@user-kt5vk2qs4b yes. You should definitely check for your tunes before you start wrenching on your car. That’s pretty standard practice for most. But if you forget to check for your tunes before doing all the work on your car, you may have to wait 1-3 business days for your tune to be made.
