I have a similar story... I saw a video claiming flat earth is biblical... I thought the guy on the video was a liar... I, growing up in a Baptist congregation, just knew none of this was true... I was so angry and was going to prove this guy wrong... As well as leave all my evidence in a scathing comment... So, I proceeded to break out the Strong's Exhaustive Concordance and looked up every passage that mentioned the words: firmament, earth, moon, stars, heavens, and foundations... To my surprise, everything he said was completely true... From there, I decided to find out what else was a lie... If I had been lied to about this, what else had I been lied to about??? Thanks to the Father putting that video before me, I have learned that we have been deceived about a great many things; both in biblical teachings and the secular world... I thank God for opening my eyes as much as He has and pray for more to be revealed... Many think I'm crazy when I talk about flat earth or other biblical truth, but as the scriptures say, "If a man thinks himself wise in this world let him become a fool that he may become wise."

During a lunar eclipse earths shadow is round, we have a north and southern pole and an equator with cold and warm air and water moving from one to the other seasonaly, our sun and moon and all the planets are spherical, it worries me that so many people can be so stupid, a flat disk would be the most unnatural object in the universe, it would make the suns daily travel from east to west and its transition from winter to summer and the opposite in the other hemisphere impossible and unexplainable, still seeing what so many people accept trustingly and without question now I shouldn't really be surprised.

I started looking at FE as something to amuse me years back. Within about 3 hours I was scratching my head with questions I couldn't answer. After a month I was flipped. The basic science proves that we are not on a globe with an atmosphere in space. Our environment is a little bit more complex than just a flat plain. It is almost like it is unique to each observer. But there is no discernable curve and definitely a creator. I personally think the biblical description is the most accurate. The sky is a projection, a timepiece. But all of this leads to an incontrovertible truth. That those who rule from behind the curtain use every means to convince the masses they are insignificant. The greatest weapon at their disposal is deception.

I came to the Flat Earth community because of mathematics. I was not interested in Flat Earth, but I did question the belief that the Earth is spinning, and that it is in an orbit around the sun, which itself is moving in an outer spiral of the a galaxy etc etc. I questioned the simple fact that if that was indeed the case, the Earth spinning, and the whole so called solar system likewise, why would the stars appear in the same configuration for thousands of years, and why does the sun appear on the altar stone of Stonehenge without fail on solstice days, with all that sun, planetary, and stellar movement? On that basis, ten years ago, I checked on the proofs that we have that the earth ACTUALLY moves. To my surprise there was ONLY ONE PROOF. That proof was so called " Stellar Aberration" and being an Engineer and having a very good knowledge and understanding of mathematics, I was surprised to find that the mathematics were based on false assumptions, with speculative theories included in the calculations. I dug deeper, and began to raise this matter with a number of mathematics professors in the UK and the US, including the prestigious M.I.T. and to my relief, I found that the mathematics that were used to prove "Stellar Aberration " were false. Since that time, Wikipedia must have heard about my enquiries, and they have taken down the original mathematics and replaced them with another complicated load of nonsense, no doubt devised to deter the casual enquirer from fully understanding their deceit. I do not know whether the Earth is flat or not, but I do know that the sole proof of Earths movement in so called "Space" is a sophisticated and elaborate con trick. The Earth is Stationary, and the builders of Stonehenge knew that too, and that is why they built this ancient cosmic time clock to prove it.

It's a relief for me to hear this . I visited NASA in Florida about 12 years ago and just felt it was a very peculiar place . They had the moon rover on display, I think the local primary school could have knocked up a more credible looking vehicle.

As a logical person the sun doesn't appear to be so far away. When I've been in an airplane everything looks flat, puzzles me how water can stay put on a spinning ball. Some other things that just don't make logical sense.

I have physically navigated around the planet 4 times using a sextant and mathematics to check positions and using Great Circle sailing. It would not be possible had the Earth been flat.

All solar eclipses are calculated years in advance, they are very precise regarding the ideal location and specific time for observations. Many flat earthers go to these predicted events to take photographs. These calculations are available to everyone and are correct every time. Where are the flat earth calculations for predicting solar eclipses? Try as I might, I am unable to find any….

The plane argument is rediculous because planes fly at a specific altitude, so a round surface would not affect a plane. Satellite communications were invented to deal with communications around the curvature of the earth as radio signals travel in a straight line, GPS works the same way.The flood was caused by the melting of ice at the end of the last ice age 10,000 years ago when the earth started warming rapidly. It was adopterd by the old testemend from other cultures that talked about the flood at an earlier time, i.e. Egypt which is likely much older than egyptologists suggest. You can't quote the bible as a scientific argument.

The eclipse we just experienced I was looking for the moon which You see in the daytime. Any way it should have been near the sun at the time of the eclipse and I didn’t see it. I saw a vid on here that showed a person videoing the event and they noticed the moon was nowhere near the sun right when the eclipse started. The moon was clearly visible. Another weird thing I notice is when I see the moon in the daytime with partial shadow and I look at the position of the sun. The earth I am standing on in no way casting the shadow on the moon what the hell is causing the shadow it should be fully illuminated and no shadow.

Once you go flat …you can’t go back! It’s life changing! I feel safer too.

I’m from the UK. Go to New Zealand and look at the moon, it is upside down. The seasons change based on the earth’s tilt. The sun is higher in the sky in the summer than it is in the winter. Earth spins, so you get night and day. Yep the earth is definitely round!

Find two flat earthers that live in UK and New Zealand phone each other at the middle of the day or night. If it is the day ( or night ) at both places,that result is consistent with flat earth.
