As a music teacher watching this I thought that he put himself out there and did his best. That is all anyone should ever remember about this experience. He took a personal journey and was able to hold his head very high at the end of it. ❤Flav. He is a real person

Mad respect to Flav for this vocal! Was it Whitney at the Super Bowl? No, of course not. But singing the National Anthem is NOT an easy task, and Flav approached it like a true pro. He was serious, he knew the words, and he delivered the best performance he possibly could. It was raw, it was passionate, and, most importantly, it was REAL. Flavor Flav and USA forever! I loved it. He took a "regular" voice and applied it to one of the most difficult poems/songs to sing and his voice stayed on tune. Never cracked. The audience appreciated his rendition.
