It's early morning at the Fraser Point Bald Eagle nest on Santa Cruz Island, California.
One of the two eaglets, "Reign", is on the nest and Dad "Andor" is on a branch on the tree.
6 days ago, on June 14, 2024, a side of the nest collapsed underneath eaglet "Manini" and he's been off exploring the area since, with a few sightings by the live camera, and frequent vocals heard from him around the nest area.
Today, June 20, 2024, Manini flies in from the top of the view!
He lands on the left side of the tree and starts telling the long story of his many adventures off the nest!
Soon, he makes his way onto the nest marking his first return as a fledgling eagle!
Andor and Reign listen to Manini until Andor hears Mom Cruz calling the background and he takes off!
Shortly after, Cruz appears in the bottom right corner of the view appearing to 'walk' up the tree into view. She hops over onto the nest and starts to feed Manini. It's so sweet; even fledglings love to be fed by their parents. And Cruz obviously loves her two eaglets! After giving Manini a few bites she allopreens him, caring for his feathers, so pleased he's home.
A young eagle's like is full of adventures, and all is well at Fraser Point
