This is not a song, it's an anthem of hope and a reminder on how life should be lived. I bow low for McVie, Nicks, and all of Fleetwood Mac, probably she's singing in heaven.

RIP, and respect. She gracefully stood in Nicks' shadow from the jump, but was integral to their sound.

So sad to hear of Christine Mcvie's passing. What a talented singer songwriter. She had so many great songs with Fleetwood Mac. Their album "Rumours" is one of the best-selling albums in history. Eight of their hit songs were written or co-written by her including "Don't Stop", "Everywhere", "Little Lies", "Over My Head", "Say You Love Me", "You Make Loving Fun", "Songbird", "Hold Me" etc. She also recorded 3 solo albums. She will be greatly missed.

Don't Stop was her biggest hit, but you've gotta check out You Make Lovin' Fun, Songbird, and Over My Head. True standouts. Hold Me, Think About Me, and Warm Ways are also great, great songs. She's got tons of them. And that's even touching her work before Stevie and Lindsey joined. Great stuff. Christine was a true talent.

I was born in 1965 and graduated high school in 1983. Fleetwood Mac 'Rumours' is one of those albums that EVERYONE had and still has. A lot like Boston's debut album. Everyone had it because it is just great. Sadly, many of the classic rock artists that played the soundtrack of our lives back in those days are starting to leave us. Yesterday's gone......yesterday's gone.............

You ARE a fan of Fleetwood Mac. Your reactions to them mimic how I felt when i first really heard them in 98 from The Dance. I was struck with their synchronicity, incredible lyrics, and, yes, the tension. I knew nothing about their past but I could feel it. It was - and is - real. To me their music is what blues, pop, rock, what have you is supposed to be. And no one personified that better than Christine. “Oh Daddy” will forever remain one of my favorite songs of hers. On Rumours, but it’s stripped down. A true blues song. The juxtaposition from all the “hits” on the album. I miss her so much already.

This has always been one of my all time Fleetwood Mac songs, this was such a great song Bill Clinton used this as his campaign song in '92. RIP Christine McVie 😘🙏🙏🙏😥😭

Love your reactions! I’ve never seen a reaction to “I’m So Afraid”. It’s full of melancholy passion with great guitar work & vocals by Lindsey B. with Christine’s beautiful organ playing setting the mood. I hope you’ll have a listen to it.

R.I.P. To Christine. She was a big reason Fleetwood Mac were such a big success. I would suggest "Crazy Love" from the "Mystery to Me Album" (Which really deserves a whole album listen, (in my opinion) it's superior to some of the Buckingham/Nicks era work. Bob Welch was a criminally underrated contributor to the band for a good 4 and 1/2 years. He also had an interesting solo career and tragic end. I would also suggest listening to "Bare Trees", another unappreciated early Fleetwood Mac effort.

I went on a trip to Glenwood Spgs. Colo. with my son from Denver and he brought the CD of the album. (he's 30). We listened to it twice on the way. Excellent album in every respect.

You'd enjoy the 1977 concert performance of "Say You Love Me" with all of them in their prime (Stevie a boss on the tambourine). It'd be great to see you watching the band at their peak during what we called in 1977 The Mac Attack.

I would love to see you react to the entire *RUMOURS* album. One of the best albums ever recorded, IMHO. I bought my first copy of it (I've had three) the day it was released. I still have it on vinyl, cassette and cd. Christine's voice and talent was unmistakable and too often underrated, taking a backseat to Stevie. But listen to this album and her contributions, not just vocally...instrumentally too. And her writing credits never got enough attention either. Another hero gone.

You should react to songbird. Incredibly beautiful song from Christine. It was the final song at FM shows for years and Christine played and sang alone at the piano. John Mcvie said he would watch from the wings and it brought him to tears.

I'd suggest a reaction listen to Little Lies by the band, their last Top 10 hit in the late 80s, with Christine as lead vocals but Lindsey and Stevie easily heard on the harmonies. A good video, too.

What i like most about this band is the different songwriting styles the three writers brought,3 totally different feeling and then they sang together as one and that harmony is unparalleled. The only band i can think of that had 3 songwriters were the Beatles and while they sung together they didnt have that beauty of the three in mac do . Its like unknown chord,. Plus the variety of songs, christine would come up with a good song, then stevie ,then Lindsey. Its great! A little about this song - they had pretty much disbanded in early '90s and when clinton got elected he asked them to perform this at his annoguration, which they did. Was first time in half a decade that they were together thus leading to THE DANCE ALBUM and then them being a band , actively touring until the pandemic. So if it werent for this song we might not have had them being a band for past 30 years!!

For me, this song is actually kind of sad. She wrote it for her husband, who she was divorcing. "I know you don't believe that it's true, I never meant any harm to you..."

That album Rumours where Don't Stop was one of the songs won Album of the Year at the Grammy's in 1980. It beat out my favorite and the greatest album of all time, imo, Aja by Steely Dan. Rumours is really great too.

In the Democratic convention of 1992, Bill Clinton used this song to bring the convention to a close, being that the song is about hoping that the future will bring better things. Not passing judgment on the man and his career, closing the convention with this song was a stroke of political genius. Here is a short clip. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/qZ6eiKp70tzGlnk.html
