When meeting Warden: "Do I believe? Well, it seems I do." When encountering Hawke: "Is it fate or chance? I can never decide?" I wonder if all of the times it seems Flemeth is talking to herself, she's actually talking to Mythal.

Yes, she is the best Villainess for me ..... ❤❤ She is voiced so Beautifully by Miss Kate Mulgrew. i'm replaying this, I love the delivery of that line at 3:09... the way she laughs and shifts into a pretty hostile tone 'I suggest you catch it while you can' its just... Flemeth in a nut shell.

Why on earth would she return as a party member though? The default canon is that she’s still the captain of the guards in Kirkwall so why would she join anyone on adventure/quest that would take place anywhere outside of her area of jurisdiction (outside of Hawke asking for her aid that is).

So this is after Lothering was razed by the Darkspawn in the first Dragon Age? I haven't played the second one.

Yes! Hawke's family is running from the Darkspawn as they are destroying Lothering. There are a lot of problems in the DA2, but I love the story.

@@wyrdsistersofthedas2723 I suppose Hawke really was still on Lothering when the HoF fled from Ostagar. So the mod that changes the "Helpful Villager" to Hawke might just be canon, then.

@@budakbaongsiah The family lived close enough to Lothering that they considered it their home town, but just far enough away to keep the Templars from seeing anything that would tell them Malcolm and Bethany (and possibly Hawke) were mages. So yeah. The Hawke family was in the area when the HoF came through. Hawke's brother Carver was also in the army at Ostagar (and a rogue or warrior Hawke would have been there too), escaping the battle and arriving to warn the rest of the family just ahead of the Darkspawn.

Hawke can be also family of the HoF. Hawke's mother, Leandra, is cousin of the mother of the Human Mage Warden.

Remember: the world would have been a much better place if Hawke's useless ass was killed before he set foot in Kirkwall. The abomination that used to be Anders would have been put down by the Templars like the dog he was, meaning the Mage Rebellion would never kick off, the Qunari would have been wiped out much faster without him trying to play (and failing) at diplomacy with them, and Corypheus would never have been released and there'd be no one left alive TO release him. Through his bumbling, procrastinating, and being completely useless at anything that doesn't involve killing people by the dozens, Hawke brought nothing but misery to the world. This is undeniable proof that Flemeth is one the most evil entities in Thedas.
