The marvels and full-art cards at rare and lower make opening boxes and packs a more exciting experience more often. LSS should embrace this and give us more of these opportunities.

I love the marvels and full arts! Though I will say they should do some sort of legendary per box, if they are truly about the players and getting cards into players hands. I would love to see a meta staple box, strikes, CNC, sink belows, etc. And a legendary per box or a special box that always has a box topper legendary. While Uprising is also my fav set to open me and my friends all pre-ordered a case and I got 0 Legendaries and 4 Marvel dragons. Meanwhile my friends all opened 3-5 legendaries, some cold foil. It really turned me off buying boxes and I haven't bought any since Uprising.

Wow that's rough. That seemed like really rotten luck for your end. I only started in March, and have bought about 4 boxes, 19 packs of crucible, almost 30 packs of Tales of Aria, about 48 to 50 packs of outsiders... Only on the last batch of 3 packs of outsiders did I finally hit my first legendary. It felt like garbage until it happened, now I cherish that card and have taken it a bit easier on packs... I think new players get anxious for their first dip into the legendary pool, but once you have some value in your collection, it's less prevalent.

As someone who opened a marvel emperor card. I can definitely say when Dynasty hits it hits hard. I agree though the spread is better in uprising and I think you're right having a marvels of spiders bite, Ornate Tessen, and all the class equipment rares would have felt a LOT better when opening packs.

Not only the marvels and cold foil legendaries are difficult to pull in Dynasty versus Uprising. Also the distribution is less even. A guy can open a whole case and not get anything better than a rainbow foil legendary. While some people open a random loose box and get a marvel, the fabled and a legendary. Conclusion: UPR is better is you want to open packs. With DYN I would suggest just picking the single cards from the market.
