Flexible dieting has completely changed my relationship with food. I still eat 80% "bro foods" just because that is what I like but being able to eat cookies or whatever when I want has stopped my binging. I haven't binged in over a year!

Katie Miller same here. if I dont eat mostly "bro" foods ill be extremely hungry through the day. 500 calories of chicken breast and veggies is way more filling to me than 500 calories of pizza. the more bro I eat the more likely ill stay in compliance

Love that layne- flexible dieting is about not being afraid of food, you choose what you eat but the point is your not afraid of any one food

Damn can we not be haters. She's being involved in this discussion, if you don't want to hear her, then don't watch an interview with "Courtney King." Go watch yourself talk in front of mirror for 20 minutes and see if you don't get annoyed by your own voice.

I'm the same Courtney! Close to a show, I am not comfortable mixing it up - basic foods are easy to track and I trust them. Not yet advanced at this flexible dieting thing, but I love it! Thanks for sharing guys! Appreciate the honesty :)

So much truth spoken in another one of Laynes videos. This man is the reason why I am doing a degree that goes in depth with all this stuff. I want to have the knowledge that he has and who knows.............even more. Almost done with said degree actually. Who's going to subscribe to my channel and come a long for the ride that is my life.

I enjoy utilizing Layne's nutritional guidance and ideas on Flexible Dieting. If Layne got $5 every time he said Alberto Nunez, I'm damn sure he could put a hefty deposit on a luxurious fishing boat! Although the taxes on the boat would really suck. Keep up the fantastic content and thank you for all the info!

Great video! The original study on disinhibtion used ice cream as the 'pre load' but lots of other foods used since with same effects: cookies, pizza etc! Must have been such a fun study for the researchers to do!

I love flexible dieting for leaning out. But what about health? Getting your good ratios of omega 3's and 6's. Getting in micronutrients. Getting healthy grassfed beef and wild caught fish. Getting lean is great but health and lean is better!

Layne in earlier video in the comment section you mentioned working with a kinesiologist (sp) to improve your form any tips you can pass on that they have provided you? I use your form videos as basis for all my major lifts. To use Phat as a beginner area lifter with knowledge of the lifts could it be effective by just reducing volume by say 50% then add in volume as i progress?

They should have talked about how the video would start because it’s literally him doing a monologue and the lady trying to “interact” and only getting in “yeah” “yes” “ya “ for the first 5 minutes.

Hey, Layne. I was in the process of signing up for avatar nutrition right now and a question came up that I didn't see already in the FAQs. I recently tore some ligaments in my ankle and thus resulting in not being able to exercise as much as I'd like. With that, along with being a full time student and work, I currently fall under the sedentary lifestyle. Am I able to change that later in my profile as my activity level increases? Thank you! If anyone else is an avatar nutrition user and already knows the answer to this question, I'd appreciate it!

For endomorphs how much fats should be allowed in a carb concentrated meal? Like suppose my meal had 50g carbs from white rice and 50g protein from beef, how much fats should I have in this meal? I have only heard and read to keep fats as low as possible in a carb loaded meal.

Using Steve as an example here is a terrible idea. It gives false expectations to new lifters because Steve is on AAS which ABSOLUTELY allows him more flexibility than a natural lifter. Nothing against him but being natural requires one to be much more strict.

Derrick yeah a lot of it still applies though. you should listen to menno henselmanns and his dieting tips. theyre kinda scattered on KZfaq but he even covers mental tricks that helped him.
@biolayne1
@biolayne1 7 жыл бұрын
first off you have no evidence of that, but let's for sake of argument that he is on AAS. what I ALWAYS hear from clean eaters is how IIFYM may work for naturals but no one at the olympia does it... ok, so how does this work then? It's like whatever hypocritical argument fits their bias is what they pick
@SovietxBravo
@SovietxBravo 7 жыл бұрын
biolayne My point remains that taking certain AAS will allow someone to get MUCH more lean while being much more "flexible" with their diet. I understand your message, and its a good one. However; flexible dieting only works to an extent. EX. you have 60 fat for the day and go eat a double double meal at in-n-out...thats 59 fat =\ RIP your diet for the day Maybe you could do a video on how AAS allows someone to process food differently.
