Got mine installed about week ago. Had a professional install it for 140$ . Took 2.5 hours but was well worth it. Works flawlessly.

I love this screen Boston Mechanics LLC installed my screen. He is the best . He actually picked up my car at my house and brought it back and when I was having trouble he drove back out to make sure I was happy. I did add the SIM card.

As usual great video Flexx!. I just brought and installed the same screen for my W204 C class- hardest bit was the wires, but once its in..what massive improvement for a w204. Screen is so slick and DMP really spent time with me for the set up. And all the same functionality as this video in the W204. Cannot fault the product or supplier. Just don't waste your time and money with anyone else. Keep em coming flexx

Hello Flexx I ordered this & there is no way I could have done this without the support from Daniel. He being the key to getting it up & running changed the language to English & trying to capture the language using google translate was not easy, my steering wheel arrows are all working fine in the NTG menu still trying to figure out some features like trying to display tire pressure on the screen along with the dash, I took it to the dealer to get the NTG menu updated to I think 2.18 2018 version for my 2012 W204 C300 I had to go to 3 dealership ‘s to find who knows what I’m talking about finally doing one but they say 189.00 and no guarantee that they can update it lol dealer? But all of them were very impressed and WOW! How did you do that. DMP awesome. I probably will do the NTG upgrade with my best friend u-tube right. I also ordered the 360° camera that DMP recommend really nice fast response I love it. This all started watching your channel good job carry on hope all is well.

I have a 2014 E550 4matic Sedan! Is anyone having a connection problem with phone calls? When someone calls me or I call them they say they cant hear me? It don't happen all the time, but it does happen and they have to call me back, or I call them then it's clear? Is there a setting on my iPhone 12 max pro or a setting on the Android 11 that will fix it? I had the front camera put on my Benz and when I put it in drive and the camera was scrolling but there was a setting to fix it so Im wandering could this also be a setting for the phone calls?

Thanks for the review. Will definitely consider this when my warranty expires on my W205. It looks like the 10 inch is the best looking screen. The 12 inch would probably look unnatural in there.

Nice video brother! Very concrete! Just a question. How do you get the Mercedes logo as bootlogo? Please make a video of that. I think a lot of people will find that useful.

Thanks but I’m not going to be doing “how to” videos on the screen. Not all screens are the same and can cause issues if I show people how to acess their hidden menu to do the change. People are curious and could ruin their screens beyond just changing the boot logo. Boot screen change instructions needs to come from your reseller of the screen. If it’s DMP car design, then you’re all set cause they are the best with support just like i mentioned in the video.

I got mine and absolutely love it my main concern is if I wanna play pandora etc I have to go into the oem screen and go to aux in order to hear it I installed a back up camera and pondering on getting the 360 view camera next

I'm having a few quirks with my install - everytime I turn on the turn signals, the screen flips back to the stock interface and stops the audio feedback for Google maps, KZfaq or any app that is running, I have to manually touch the screen and navigate back to the android interface, back to the app and resume. Also, I've noticed my front camera switch only work in the stock interface (I have to navigate to the mbu interface and then hit the camera button and last but not least, when I toggle between my driving modes, the screen flips back to the mbu interface and then just sits there (I have to manually navigate back to the andriod screen, needless to say it also stops any andriond apps running. Any guidance or advise brother? Thanks.

Omayer, I think you need to do 2 things. You probably need a software update and most of the issues that can be fixed in the settings. The screen is not configured correctly. I can't tell you how to do that because every screen is different. Whoever sold you the screen should be able to provide you with the update and give you the password to the settings menu.

@@TheFlexxGarage I purchased the unit from 4x4shop in Canada, probably the largest retailer of inav systems. I was really disappointed thinking that turning on the turn signals would keep on switching to the mbux interface (as that is not usuable) - you have given me some hope as it sounds like a configuration issue. I will ask them for an update and the password as well. Thanks Flexx.

You don’t for the speaker but I recommend doing the mic cause that should help with phone calls and voice control.

It will switch to the backup camera regardless of what mode you're in. Just be sure to choose which camera you want to use in the settings, because the OEM camera isn't selected by default.

Yeah. Still worked but you can’t control the android interface. Only the volume. Cause when You are using the android interface...your system is in AUX/USB Audio.

The ones I sell can be set to OEM camera or aftermarket camera and will switch to the correct interface upon hitting reverse.

Mine goes to reverse camera any time I am in reverse automatically regardless of what screen I'm currently on. Even going in reverse right when I start the car before the tablet even boots up. It's freaking awesome! Just make sure you get an experienced installer.

Can you buy this larger screen and get it to boot into the OEM system straight away. I Just like the look of the wider screen compared to the smaller one, but do you have to change back to OEM each time you start the car? thanks

There is a setting in the screen’s menu from where you choose to which system you want to start the screen - to OEM, Android or last used.

It’s connected to the cars sound system. There’s no point putting a screen if the sound comes from its own little speaker. That makes zero sense for a product like this.

I have the 2015 c300 like yourself and was looking to get one of these screens, can you tell me if i can control songs, switching between menus and apps through the centre console controls or is I strictly done through the touch screen? Also, do I need to switch to the old settings for the reverse camera to come up on the screen or does it come up automatically when I put it into reverse? Thanks man

Hey Flexx, thank you for your videos they are very useful. I installed the screen on my w205 but i have one issue. When on android i cant switch between dynamic modes and the volume scrolling does not work, only work when im on the NTG screen. Is there a way to fix this?

Hey how did you set up the split screen for apps and the picture in picture ? I have same exact spec unit and I don’t see it anywhere. Also, does your unit freeze at all ? Mine has been horrible lately

Did you buy your screen from DMP? If you did, they can get everything setup and up to date for you. If you didn’t, you need to get support from your reseller for “how to” and “updates” to improve the speed. Not all screens are the same.

Yeah my screen freezes all the time when using car play. And you can just use the multi app selector and then hold the app and drag it to the side to get split screen.

As mentioned in the video, when the screen is in the NTG mode (oem screen) everything including buttons on the car works like OEM.

Download Netflix from browser you need the apk file.. the play store is lying saying it’s not optimized.. does this on many androids devices like my tv box.. found away around This just a couple days ago..

Hey man I have a 2013 Mercedes c250 an have been wanting to change out the screen to something like what you put in your car. But when I called my local car stereo dealer they told me it would be 1,500 to 1,700 because they would need to change out all the speakers. Is this true or am I potentially getting ripped off. I wouldn't do it on the 205. These turbo 4 engines are super sensitive to mods..especially turbo related mods. If you want more boost, then look for an ECU tune that will do it in the coding versus a manually attachment like my older C250. I'm not sure who makes a good ECU tune. Remember, just because some has some extreme tune that works...doesn't mean it's reliable. It could ultimately decrease the life of your engine. Especially those tunes for pops & bang.

I like this screen. And also like ambiente lighting. I would like to use laser fibre wire. With multi color module. Eneyone can give me some tips ? I would some qualiti products. My car is a w204 facelift.

How does the internet work with Android system? Do I need to create a hotspot and/or insert a sim card, OR does it work on mobile data such as android auto?

Those are the only 2 options. Doesn’t work off mobile data.

Hi Flexx, this 10.25” Android Screen is impressive, I do like all features but the drawback is that all bottoms of the steering wheel doesn’t work anymore once you replace your oem screen to the Android Screen ? So you can’t answer the phone by the steering wheel any longer while you driving?

Can you show a video of actually driving and using the unit. With OEM 100% of buttons work. My guess these units are about 70% compatible because not all buttons work in Android screen your constantly having to go back and forth. Thats why only see reviews with everyone just sitting there and using touchscreen, with many cars your too far away. Also why a 1960 x 720 screen. There is so much lost by the thick band all the way around. 1920 x 1080 is true HD no tablet, or phone is this resoultion, so the unit has to scale eveything. . Way too much screen is lost, would like to see measurements of true visible screen. I would really like one of the units for my older mercedes, I hoped to be proved wrong.

Hey Flexx, I would like to know if you can change the apps on the home screen. Long press doesnt seem to do anything. Long pressing in the app drawer only gives the option to uninstall the app unlike in a phone where you have the option to add to home. Amy help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance

Hi Alex, I have some questions, I already installed the 10-inch android screen, the joystick and the buttons on the steering wheel work, but the touch pad (mouse) does not work, is it normal that it does not work? or did I do something wrong? And my second question is, if I enter KZfaq, Amazon music, Spotify etc from my screen using the hotspot of my cell phone, it does not reproduce the sound, I do not understand what happens, it only reproduces it when I am in bluettoot from the system of the previous screen. can you help me solve this? thank you very much your videos have been of great help

I have the same screen on my CLS 2013. All work great except when the door opened diagram shows the opposite door on screen, i.e. left door open but the right door on screen is shown opened. How do I fix this? TIA!

No issue for me. Where did you buy your screen? If it’s from DMP, then just reach out to them and they can get it working 100% for you.

Hey Flexx, Thanks for this great review. quick queston regarding sound. I have an upgraded sound system in my car with a digital sound processor. Do you think it will be a huge difference in sound quality? Concious that it will need a digital - analogue convertor that connects in series with the audio connection. Look forward to your help with this one. Thanks

@@wazmehmood786 oh i hope you did find an answer to this question.. im camping on the internet for months now😅 like if i install the screen, there will be an audio delay and so on.. will my eton soundsystem with the 7 channel dsp work great with it... oh my nobody can answer :(
