You're taking me to places where I've never been in Mauritius. My relatives had a holiday house at Baie du Tombeau called "La Falaise" because it was built on the cliff.

@@BryanDiscoversWorld As a child as far as I remember we only saw the vast stretch of the ocean from the top. To go to the beach down below we had to go down the cliff on a forged foot path with care. Once at the bottom of the cliff we had to swim across a very high current and deep course of water and that's where I learned to swim while someone was holding my hand and yet did not lift me up out of the water and purposefully left me to struggle by myself to hold my head above the water and after a few terrifying minutes I was swimming like a fish; that really made my day. If you swim once you can swim all your life.
