The cheapest flights are what people want. You pack more people on planes, less leg room , less service that's some of the end results

@niselat FA's are there for a reason, serving meals is just a duty on top of their main role - keeping passengers safe. If anything goes wrong, they're there to keep passengers from harm and keep them alive if the worst happens.

Again and again????? I think some AA flight attendants are bad. Some are mad without reason. Some are fighting with each other. Oh my Gosh!!!!! I think next time, i won't fly again. I have a trauma today because of these bad news! This is horrible!!!

Dsalvat1 I think you might have some statistics messed up. I do agree that "Regional" pilots get underpaid a TON. Some only getting $26,000 and that's terrible. But the average commercial airline pilot gets about $119,000 a year. I don't know what Costco or target guy gets that, and if so sign me up. A southwest captain gets around $189,000 a year. Sounds like a plan to me.

At 1:37 ...How can a MAINTENANCE ISSUE be OVER REPORTED? How does one remedy this situation? "Hey Captain Ralph...in the spirit of improved performance, let's under report every other maintenance issue this month." Won't be flying this airline soon.

A shame the really great AA flight attendants are sucked into the "bad news brats" of other AA flight attendants!

Now: Seats came loose and tipped. Midflight the planes had to return. Human error. 6 planes had seats repaired. The seats had been changed to give more legroom and charge more.

Seen a hilarious fight between two beautiful airline stewardess. They were arguing & one squeezed ,pinched,& twisted the others nose & the other did the same. They both went up& down the plane, squeezing, pinching,& twisting each other's noses with both hands screaming & yelling in nasal tone, " owe my nose"! " Let go of my nose lady" ! " No u let go" " my noooooose" it went on for a long time.

The two FA’s that were arguing should,have been fired on the spot.

Why don’t the airlines purchase massive amounts of stocks in the oil companies? They could become 49% shareholders. And then they could steer the oil companies to produce cheaper fuel for the airlines.

Bad experience over and over. Unfriendly attendants and bad meals. No more AA.

I fly AA 2-3 times a year and O have NEVER had a problem it the flight attendants. They are always helpful and courteous.

I'm not surprised, I've never liked AA. I've flown them many times before, and never had an on time flight. I don't understand why they have bankruptcy issues, as high as those damn tickets are, they should be doing fine....

Uh, sorry... what is "over reporting maintenance issues" ? Is that where the pilot repeatedly reports a problem that should have been fixed but wasn't ? Or are they insinuating that pilots make up bogus reports of non-functional equipment? Either way, I'd side with the pilot. Nobody wants to be up in the air when there's critical equipment that has gone neglected.

It is not their fault, they are underpaid and overworked. It is part of this new "business mentality" where they squeeze every worker for a buck. And then AA wanted to charge me $990 for the second segment Dallas to Quito because they had the layover of 20 hours. It's all one reservation. SMH. Not until my friend starts taking names and filming dis the relent. That's the HEAD OF OPERATIONS in Dallas. Nasty nasty rude people. No amount of crying worked. And they knew I was a poor volunteer in South America fulltime. Steal my savings for a year. Ridiculous.

PEOPLE, a flight attendant is a temporary job for people who are changing careers, taking online classes, or recently divorced women while they are waiting for their settlements hoping to meet a new husband on the plane. IT IS NOT A CAREER, if you are a flight attendant as a career, don't bitch about your low salary. Go to school and actually do something with your life.
