Flight Simulator Instruments Part 2: Airspeed Indicator, Vertical Speed Indicator, and Tachometer

Hello Everyone!
Today I will show how you can build the 3 "Simple" instruments in the Cessna 172 (These should work with any airplane) using a program called MobiFlight. MobiFlight is primarily used for FSX, but can be used with X-Plane via XPUIPC.

I'm wondering if you've found any 3d models for a cessna cdi, or what are you planning to do for that because I'm guessing its a bit more complicated with 3 or more servos.

Could you do another video about how to make knobs for the 737. Like the engine knobs and/or autopilot knobs?

Usually I don't do videos with things I am not using :( The videos would be too random, and confusing :) My tip would be to 3D print some from 737DIYSIM: www.thingiverse.com/737DIYSIM/designs or to carve your own out of wood if you are good at that. Let me know if you need any help!

Hey Man, what were your settings on the print of the backplate? Did you use supports?

I printed it with supports everywhere, no raft, I believe 25% infill, .25 layer height.

Hey, Captain Bob. I wonder if you can help me with something. For my airspeed indicator, I need to print 2 images: the IAS indicator and the TAS indicator (to glue onto the spinning section of the instrument to be turned with the knob) TY if you can help me :) YAY

How much the 3D frame of magnetic compass cost you?

I 3D printed it so I guess it would cost about $.75-$2. The cost might be different if you molded it or something.

I was thinking to use a 7 inch LCD with arduino mega to use as altitude indicator, can it be programmed with mobi flight? Please let me know if possible

@@BTCAudiobook Probably not, It would be some complicated programing anyways. You could use an HDMI and do something there?

Время полета на симуляторе должно соответствовать времени суток. Нельзя ставить пять утра когда на улице семь вечера. Вот тогда какой-то смысл появляется в полетах. Интересные полеты в час ночи.
