Is your ground course a " visual" of the info of FAA or is it intended for those that already read the FAA ?

Thank you for this information. I have downloaded a free ground school off KZfaq. Now to take the PPL written knowledge test is it necessary to get the Gleim PPL knowledge test prep or will the ACS and the FAR/AIM tell me all I need to know? And to take the knowledge test do I need an instructors endorsement or is there a way around that? I do not want to pay an instructor for anything ground or that's not involving flight training . Thanks.
