I'd say it was a success! For those of us who are accuracy challenged that would make a nice punch for some type of indirect rocker set up.

That’s a beautiful point. Is that heat treated Buffalo, if so what is the texture and quality like.. it has a look of flint ridge through the camera lens.. I’ve found Buffalo but it hasn’t looked as good as that material.

It is Buffalo river chert that is heat treated and medium quality.

@@EDBO23 I’ve got 1 largerish bi-face Buffalo that I’d like to give you if I ever run into you again at a knap in… work has kept me from getting to any since I met you up in Tn… but maybe early spring I’ll be able to start making the knap in’s again. @@EDBO23 I really enjoyed the video got me wanting to try the bar.my problem is getting stone in New Jersey can't seem to find flint or chert I've got alot of cohansey Quartzsite wich is fossilized sandy bottom I've got to heat treat it once the Lenape used it so I know it's possible

I know the hurt. I grew up in Southern Mississippi were there was only small chert. In Alabama now I still have to buy rock at knapins and online.
