My loadout kinda simple - Highest penatration rifle for big animal - Highest Expansion rifle for normal size animal - Bow for close range and silent kill

of all the rifles I've used, the 7MM is the only one that's held up and got the job done no problem

300, 7mm, Mosin, and a Compound bow (Differs from different senerios), thats what i stick with, and carry all the ammo for the bow, 300,420,and 600 arrows. Never know what diamond youll see walk right in front of ya.

I'm honestly insulted with how they treated the 338, it's a fantastically accurate round

My favorite loadout. 6.5 mm both bullets. Max range 218 yds. For me, this is kind of a do-all for medium to large animals and going the distance. I was able to hit a Red Deer at 429 yards and drop him. I set zeroing to 328 and move the mill dot to -0.8 down with the max scope and max zoom. I try hitting a bison in the head and it now powerful enough... lol 7.0 mm both bullets. Mainly for Bison. If no bison on the map, it's in storage. 12 Gauge shotgun Pump-action and all 3 shotgun types. For close range. Birdshot, Buckshot and slug. 6 rounds and I am set.

Funnily enough, that's my exact loadout. The only time I switch anything out is if I'm going for a certain species or want to farm cash at a zone.

Brand new to the game, only been playing 3 days and your videos have been a massive help. I only have the Medved Taiga and weapon pack 2 dlc so my current loadout is the MN1890, the Grelk and the .45 pistol, I have slugs and Birdshot for the Grelk so I have something to cover class 0 and my next target is to unlock the 7mm

I'm still waiting for the scoring system overhaul before I get a set weapon loadout as it should help line up what weapons we can use on what ainamls, but as of right now this loadout 100% the move

i usually go with the 7mm, 22lr rifle, and .45 pellet rifle and that covers every animal class in the game as far as i can tell .

Besides fixing the 5468 bugs in the game the next essential add should be Load-out profiles tied to each map.

i use Hawkedge 30-06 and mosin every map but I mainly bow hunt

I just have main weapons I use. Mine is a mood thing tbh. It consists of 454, 300, M1, Hawk Edge, 45-70, 243, 44. I’m not much of a 1 class hunter, so things like Rabbits and Ducks are trivial. This is just from my many hours of gameplay. 7mm is consistent but not consistently better than the M1 to stay on my list. Same with the 303 I’ve had more consistent double lungs from farther distances with the M1 that’s why it takes my spot. 45-70 has a soft spot in my heart for some reason, it’s also some how surprisingly consistent. 300 is very consistent. Most bows are consistent so choice is preferable. Pistols are just a hobby in my opinion I keep them for fun(454 and 44 will absolutely drop anything that crosses you wrong)

I got a 999 scoring Mallard duck yesterday. I have two now both 999 and then a pi bald mallard that scored 925

I don't understand why the mosin is used over the .243. The .243 shoots straighter and has polymer tip rounds. I shot a deer at roughly 100 yards with the mosin and it couldn't reach the heart. The .243 does reach the heart from that range though. So why do people use the mosin over the .243?

For small game maps, like New Zealand, I carry the: 1. .22 rifle 2. .223 3. 6.5mm 4. 12 gauge pump If I need something bigger then it’s almost always the .300 but it’s hard to give up the versatility of the 7mm. If the 7mm had a magazine rather than being single shot I’d never put it away.

I personally carry at this point.... The 30.6, the mosin and the .22. I occasionally take out my tent and replace it with the crossbow.or the 223 depending on map. I still carry every particular caller a map calls for binocs and cover spray.

I would just like to say I was playing this game And with this load out I got my first diamonds I got a diamond wildebeest and a few harlequins

I just bought all the Weapon Packs and some more DLC's last week, and since then my loadout consist of the Mosin for Medium sized animals, the 60 ibs bow for silent kills and close quarters, the .357 for small animals and self defence and the Drilling for very big and very small game. Its proven to be very versitile and i like running with it. 5/7 can recommend

Excellent list. Mine is .300, .30-06, Mosin, and Nordin 20SA. I like having a shotgun for the Ducks and Rabbits, and the 20 buckshot takes care of class 1 (with the obvious downside being terrible range).

My load out make specifically for Yukon. 45.70 lever hollow points. Specifically for bison, wolves if attacked and moose. .338 for long range or canning magnum. .270 polymer tip for long range wolf hunts or caribou. .223 docent for fox. There’s my load out. Let me know if you guys ever use it 👍🏼

As someone without WP2 and WP3, I use the 270 on everything in Cautro Colinas, except rabbits, then I use the shotgun. Everywhere else, i change my load out depending what I'm targeting specifically.

I don't like that need zones are a more powerful tool than callers. Feels less like "hunting" and more like shooting fish in a barrel.

My loadout at the moment is as follows: Eckers 30-06, Solekhin MN1890,Virant 22LR and Rhino .454. The Rhino is very helpful if you get cornered by Wolves (both on Yukon and Cuatro Colinas)!!

I have the duck dlc but I have never ran across a duck in game ....

I found myself using the 7mm against Red Deer over the 30-06 because I found myself being able to drop them more consistently on longer ranged shots with it.

Depending on the map really, but for Hirchfelden I atm use: 1. 7mm for 4-9 2. Mozin for 3-4 3. 243 for foxes 4. Colt 45 birdshot for rabbits etc

with a crossbow u can use every munition type with one weapon slot

I think this video is outdated, because of updates in weapon class. E.g. the .243 is now the best for weapon class 2, since it is much stronger than the .223 and as far as I see there are no other rifles for class 2. My current setup is: Class 1) .22 rifle Class 2-3) .243 rifle Class 4-8) 30-06 rifle Class 7-9) .300 rifle (But I only carry it when class 9 is on the map: Lions/bisons/buffalos) If you don't mind having only one shot you can also replace the 30-06 and the .300 with the 9mm rifle to have a three gun setup for any animal.

I have a 7mm with polymer tips for bigger game. Then a bow for a silent kill and it’s just fun. A pistol really just for defense. And a shotgun for follow up shots

I use 7mm, 243, and 22 I sometime switch my 22 with the cyclone

I run the new .303 now teamed up with the .300 and the .22, which still leaves enough room for me for callers. I'm not huge on hunting smaller game like Roe deer, so this loadout covers all my medium and big game bases.

I would say for pistol hunters, drop the mosin and use the .45, it’s good from the red fox to the whitetail

All I carry is the drilling (poly tips, birdshot, and slugs (only used for backup in wolf country) and the 300 magnum. And at night I carry the 6.5 with the night vision scope.

I carry the .454 Rhino in almost all loadouts, especially on maps with predators.

I just use the 270 and the 7mm bacaise all i play is layton lakes

I would toss the 22 & the 30-06 for the 9.3x74r with the 9.3x74r polymer tip bullet and 16 gauge birdshot. if you are one like me that likes callers, then that's the way to go. If you dont have ANY of the dlc mentioned in this vid, an alternative base game loadout is 12gw/birdshot, 223, 243, 7mm & 338. My current loadout is 22, 243, 7mm and im working my way towards the 338. but I like diversity so ill interswap guns for other guns like the mosin, 9.3x74r, and the 300 magnum. The game has so many guns to offer so I suggest finding good guns and making a loadout. for instance instead of just using the 300 magnum, use the 338 another day for a change, then go back to the 300 or maybe the 9.3x74r, you get the point.

My load out is similar. Keep in mind, I have the pack mule perk. I use: .22 pistol .357 .30-30 (mosin is better but I like lever action rifles) .30-06 .300 magnum .540gr recurve bow (love the challenge of no sight) With the pack mule perk, I have plenty of room for calls, scopes, ammo, etc. too.

Hey flinter so I am very new to this game and have been having trouble changing bullets out after I buy new ones because I bought new ones and can figure out how to switch them out so I would really like it if you could show how to do that in your next vidoe.

Why Mosin and 30-06? they mostly overlap? 22 for class 1, 223 for 2-4, 30-06(m1) for 4-8, and 300 for 7-9, I was surprised that by playing myself I come to the same setup:)as you. If I had to choose only one weapon to carry: 30-06

I use the .300 for big game but since I don’t have weapon pack 2 and 3 I instead use the 243 as replacement for both mosin and 30-06, I also carry the rhino instead of 7mm so I can still be able to fit callers. I then use .22 or 233 depending on the map

there is no ultimate loadout for every map, if you want all needed callers callers and 100% integrity you need to adopt to every map, you are left with 4 slots for weapons, and having a bow is a must have, just like D33 mentioned in comment section, so you have 3 slots left, 7,62 Mosin is a must have, 30-06 is also a must have, especially after a buff, so you are left with 1 variable slot, usually place for 300 Magnum, and if you need .223 or .22 or .470, you can rotate those for map you are playing, and i assume that everyone can buy a small backpack and have a skill, so you have 6 more kgs for loadout, you can even put a handgun in that rotation, you just go in inventory and switch the guns, to get what you need at the moment, so with small backpack and a skill you can actually have an ultimate loadout for every map, you maybe need to change 1 weapon, for example you dont need .223 in Africa, so you can take something else, 2nd example you dont need .470 in Taiga, the good thing is that there is no map where you need weapons from class 0 to class 4, that would be rly hard to cover, keep in mind that backpaks also got a buff, they dont make noise while standing, and small backpack is not that big of a deal for noise and cammo, that's how i play :)

My load out is normally the 300,M1,243,and 22 but sometimes I’ll do just the 300,243,and22 if I wanna have more space or the 7mm,243,and 22 I NEVER use the 223 I think it’s really bad in terms of penatration even for the classes it holds integrity on,also those are the classes I recommend and you can swap the 300 for the 338 if you don’t have Yukon.

I normally carry the 338 for some nice bison and Buffalo and maybe mount elk and another is the 270 polymer for me it gets the job perfectly done and another is the 243 for some small doe and ducks.

I love my drilling, 1 gun teir 2-9 witn the buckshot and rifle round, but i like having a revolver on hand for wolves and such just in case

This game still needs a good 21century lever action rifle with magazine and ammo for long range. Like henry long ranger in 308win. At over 150m the lever action rifles in the game loose a lot of momentum and penetration.

I only use 2 weapons. Drilling birdshot= class 1, rifle rounds= 5-9 and a Bow for 2-4.

This is the list of in real life how the calibers should be listed I got this information out of my reloading manuals and I went off a mid range grain bullet and kinetic energy at 100 yards wich is a gaurenteed quick kill in game if you get lungs 1. 338 2. 9.3x74r 3. 7mm 4. 30-06 5. 270 6. 7.62x54r 7. 6.5 creedmoor 8. 243

So I've been playing around with this alot since this vid was posted. I feel 5 guns is a lot to carry. I use callers and carry a tripod stand. I have a few setups that is 1-2 weapon setups I use for all integrity but you will have to get closer to class 0-2 critters that is the trade off. Having to carry a .223 just for class 1 and a .22lr for class 0 is I feel a issue in this game if you want to use just rifles. The Grelck Drilling Rifle and bows/crossbows can take all classes if you don't mind switching ammo a lot. I use a crossbow/bow with 300gr, 420gr, and 600gr arrows/bolts for classes 0-4 and a .30-06 for class 2+ if on Cuatro Colinas map. All other maps I would use same bow/crossbow setup with a Grelck drilling rifle using 16ga birdshot for class 0-1, 16ga buckshot on class 2, 9.3mm on class 3-4 or a 7mm for classes 3-4. If you dont want to use archery you can swap out the bow/crossbow with the .45lc pistol. Use .410 birdshot on class 0-1, .45lc hardcast bullets on class 2 and you can use a 7mm for class 3-4 or Grelck Drilling rifle but I like bows for reduced hunting pressure. I really like the .300mag and the 6.5mm but the way the game does integrity it's hard for me have them all and give up the tripod stand. The .30-06 is the best gun for integrity in the game can take class 2-3 pretty good and even most class 4 with a really good shot placement at reasonable distances under 150m.

For me it comes down to 3 weapons that make this universal loadout which I can carry anywhere and handle anything: - Koter CB-65 with rangefinder bow sight - for silent bow hunting - Grelck Drilling Rifle for larger game with its 9.3X74R ammo and shotgun shells for versatility (ducks/geese/rabbits and usually preloaded with slugs for these oh shit moments) - Solokhin for medium game and these moments when high score animal is at a range

I would be interested to see if your all-maps load-out has changed with the introduction of the 303 British rifle. Also, there is no archery option in your load-out. Would you choose to include a bow or cross-bow, now that the hunting pressure from those is so much lower than it is for rifles? Any chance you might create a 2021 version of this, maybe after the Mexico map drops?

I use the m1 grand 30-06 22 rifle the 10 gauge and then I just pick a random

my current loadout without dlcs is 12ga Birdshot ( class 0 & 1) 30-30 ( class 2 Deer ) 45-70 ( for everything else) and if i got room 44mag Hard Cast ( protection ) but i will trade it for the 357 on a cation because i have bad luck shooting coyotes with birdshot.

Tbh I like it but I found it's nice to have a bow cause if a random animal comes up and u trying to be quiet the bow also seems to take the animal down better I feel like but I play xbox 1 and how u get the 300 ?

I like carrying the mosin on all maps and the 7mm but I only have weapon pack 2 so I would assume I would switch the 7mm with the m1 or possibly both with the m1 if I had the m1

But why 30-06 AND Solokhin? Especially since the 30-06 has a higher recoil and at higher level i'll just switch to the .300, so the levels don't matter
