As always, I loved every bit of this video. I always lose stuff now, and I used to be soooo organized! It drives me nuts! I really liked when you pulled your inks out, because I was thinking you meant liquid inks, and I saw that what you had looked a lot like what we call stamp pads in the USA. I might have forgotten to check to make sure they were ink and not chalk, if you hadn't warned us, so your "ink tutorial" probably saved some of us some grief. I think they even look the same with Distress on the label. What lovely results in this book with a method that looks like it is easy enough that even I might be able to do it without messing it up. My carpel tunnel shouldn't object either. Thank you so much!

Hi Lucy, i have the night before christmas book and i was thinking to use my distress inks for that. Thank you for warning me the distress inks go through paper..because they are not soaking wet. I think pan pastel will do a good job! 😊❤

Lucy! What fun your ink tutorial was to watch. I’ve never seen one before. This book is amazing. I can’t imagine the precision needed for all those tiny lino cuts needed to produce such detailed images. I also loved your delight with each page you turned. Enjoyed this video enormously! ❤️

Love it! Now I have to have that book. What a great way to use our inks. I have all the distress inks plus a a bunch of the Dew Drops and a ton of others my sweet daughter gave me. Gonna order the book today! Thanks for a great video. ❤❤❤

It's a lovely book. I love Lino carving images. I have some inks. You have given me an idea for where to use them. I too can't get on with the big round blending tools that ZucchiniKitty uses so beautifully. I bought a big bag of eyeshadow applicators and use those, plus the soft brushes for bigger areas. I bought mostly the small ink blocks, but even new many of them were dry as old bones. Have you ever tried adding a little water to a dry pad to get it going again? I have a few ink refills but they are pricey and not always available.

Ranger makes a product called, ink refresher. Comes in a spray bottle. Made for water based stamp pads. Mine contains 4 ounces. My pads have to be 20 years old or older. I bought them when distress ink pads first came out. Sells for 7.50 US dollars on Amazon us.
