hello how can insert stuff of pictures to my new school site like activity.... i m talking about 50 pics or more

+alnoor alnoor make sure these pictures are all uploaded to you drive. Then in Google site you can have a link to the folder (folder icon) or simply add the pictures one by one, resizing them by drag and dropping.

Hi, have you also used google my business? do you know how to map google sites to google my business website?

I have had a little play with Google my Business, but certainly not to extend that I would feel comfortable teaching it. Maybe in the future. In regards to mapping a Google sites to a custom url, that I am very confident sharing with you. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/ndaAaN1zs8Decp8.html in this video you will see how a sites can be mapped to your url if you have access to the admin console.

You can add multiple elements all over your page. However a link is currently still a separate element(text)

Can you link your "new google site" to your domain name?

+david kastner hi, if you have gsuite enables for your domain your sites can be given site.domain.com when publishing. As not all of the previous functionality has rolled over and mapping your site to a specific non GSUITE apps domain is not yet available, I would publish the site as public and then redirect my domain name to the address. Hope this helps and as soon as I find a better way I'll create a follow up video! Any other suggestions are welcome as well!

I don't see the option "New Google Sites" as you demo in the video. Any tips?

+dori friedman this is due to your domains release settings. My domain is set to a rapid release which gets features a couple of days before the scheduled release. You should see the new sites some time this week.

New Google sites is over simplified to the point of being very poor. A big step backwards from the real google sites. Why is google ditching years of experience for this? I really hope some major improvements happen before they close what we have now.

I don't think Google will leave all the functionality. They are possibly looking at a different platform all together which enables ore in depth editing as you could do with Google Sites. Also Blogger has seen some changes recently and this could be another path Google is looking at. Maybe having Google Sites as a more simplified platform aimed at easy creation and another at the Html and functionality side of things. Who know...
