i disagree with this as i have many friends that mechanically there cars are in top shape but the insides look like a dump i dont get it personally but its not always the case

What antibiotics did they put you on? I just vacuumed out a 96 dakota and cleaned the carpets and door panels and such, and ended up with an upper respiratory infection. I did a week of prednisone and a 5 day z pack of azithromycin. Definitely wearing a respirator from now on.

And then there’s me clean the bathroom with ammonia and bleach mixed together. Windows closed door closed. Spent a good 20 minute scrubbing this thing out felt a little dizzy soon as a roommate of mine came in to check nearly passed out in a matter of seconds…..

I don’t do car detailing but I do custodial work and a few weeks ago I had an upper respiratory infection as well. Was not put on antibiotics, was told to take NyQuil and DayQuil and to stay hydrated and rest lol.

Absolutely love the process. Simple yet effective. Sorry to hear about the sinus infection but yes, rule of thumb is to def wear a respirator for sure! I definitely have mine close by.

What do you use for odor removal in a smoke smell car we usually start with extraction, then a wipe down, then we will use a hydroxcyl cleaner to scrub the air this is labor and time intensive but it does work just curious how you handle stuff like that '

Respirators always please! Gloves and glasses also. Avoid skin contact with the surfaces if possible. Just by staying inside these cars is already dangerous, even more shuffling the dirt..

I’ve been in the car business for 30 years. DO NOT try this at home. There’s a whole lot more to flipping a car than cleaning it up. For instance that’s old Malibu’s are known for timing chain issues.
