I CURRENTLY DONT HAVE A DRIVEWAY , nor do I have any friends or family nearby ( they all live 50+ miles away sadly enough atm ).. so sadly I can't do any flips yet, cus parking them on the streets is illegal and i would need to register them and literally pay 500€ , like 400£ at least before i can get them sitting on the road, but when i make some money from my main job soon, oooooh boy imma rent me a garage for like 50£ a month, and buy a car, deposit it there, and flip it ! :D can't wait ! I'm a car detailer aswell so these go hand in hand :) I'm so excited for the future. nice channel btw bro, love seeing people learn step by step and increasing their business, imma just do that and only that aswell, and create a legacy. greetings

Reminds me of when I bought a mint 2012 BMW X5, with 58K miles, for $1.5K. Seller's local mechanic said it needed an engine for $12K...was, "locked up". Turned out it needed a crank case vent kit for $120 (purchased from the dealer)...had frozen, and failed, and was directing oil into the cylinders, which hydro locked the engine. Fixed it myself, in an hour, and sold it days later for $10.5K.

It's always fun when you're trying to work on a car and then all the sudden it starts great job on this flip as always Jay it was great to see the look on your face when you and your guy figured out the gas tank door I am curious about one thing though when you said you got an oil change did you change the oil yourself and that's what it cost for the oil and the filter or did you have to pay to have that done
@flippingcarsforfun4 ай бұрын
Appreciate it man. Yes I went and got an oil change at a Local oil change place slash car wash. I usually try to record that part but they didn’t let me in this time during the oil change lol. Thanks for watching
@jasonwells90504 ай бұрын
Just a suggestion Jay doing the oil changes yourself could save you just a little bit of money and you know that you did it right because you yourself did it a friend of mine had an oil change done at some quick lube place or something and the guy didn't do the oil change correctly and it ended up messing up her engine so doing it yourself is more practical I think in the long run and especially if you're going to flip the car just a suggestion

I suggest you do a full diagnosis over everything before you throw parts at stuff try to buy cars that actually take work. Not just a car with a minor problem that needs little to nothing. show people anyone can do it with common tools it’s ok to mess things up that’s how you learn

I would rather cars with minimal work if I’m flipping them. If I was doing a big project then yea. Thanks for watching

13:20 you think 300$ is bad? I have a 2011 BMW X5 Flip one of the right rear wheel bearings was shot making a deathly humming noise over 30 MPH and it cost me 700$! They gave it back to me after changing it and it went down slightly but still hella noisy! I ain’t paying no 1500$ for 2 bearings. So paid 30$ for a a bearing and hub off EBAY and throwing on the front right myself. Looked up the process it’s not even terrible I even have a puller for it too. SMH 🤦🏻♂️ never again paying 700$ for a damn bearing and all they did was change the bearing not even the hub… but nice job bro clean flip good profit
@flippingcarsforfun4 ай бұрын
Yea man that’s why I started to do the work my self. I do it for fun aswell very therapeutic. It’s really hard flipping the car if you have to pay so much for labor. This why most dealers have their own mechanic shops on site. Thanks for watching
@startingtech39004 ай бұрын
@@flippingcarsforfun I do TONS of work myself on my flips. Mostly all of them. But like steering racks, oil pan gaskets and other heavy steering jobs. I usually pay my Indy shop bc like you said doing it on jackstands can actually be risking your life. I run a detail business so been slammed and I got his x5 for 5500$ so I still had plenty of money to profit and still so but never again 700$ for a bearing lol 😂

What does "run out the monitors" mean?
@flippingcarsforfun4 ай бұрын
When you run the monitors of the car it basically tells if the car is good to go. You have to run the monitors to make sure the check engine light doesn’t come back on. If all the monitors run and the check engine light doesn’t come back on your good to go. Thanks for watching
