Floating Ornament Tutorial

Do you know what size to cut the sheet for the smaller Dollar Tree bulbs that come in a 2 pack?

Will this size work with the same size ornament but the disk?

Yes! As long as its the 4in/100MM size it will work in the disk ornaments as well!

What setting did you cut this on?

I used posterboard + setting on my cricut machine.

Is the acetate suppose to float (move) or should it be secure to the bottom of the ornament & not move?

If you are using the same size it should sit nicely in the ornament and not move around to much. If you use something thinner then it tends to get "droopy" and not want to stay in place.

You can hot glue the tip of the acetate piece into the opening to keep stable.

This one is the 4in/100MM round plastic ornament.

What thickness is the acetate?

I will have to check and see. I used a few different ones. Thicker in my opinion did much better than the thin "craft" plastic.
