Hello everyone!
First of all Thank you Fernando and Alisz for lending me the ADV and GT-S!
Apologies for the lack of videos! I've been both busy and sick lately. Here's my first impressions video of both the GT-S and Floatwheel ADV. Which on should you get? What did I like? Which one would I get?

Great comparison! I had the GT and Pintx since they were released. I got the Floatwheel in March. It’s so good that I don’t ride my Onewheel’s anymore. Vesc software is amazing. Replaced the tire with XR Enduro after 200miles. Would definitely recommend it. Stock tire is not very nimble, has very hard side walls.

Hello! Yes, Floatwheel has a video with step by step configuration for the Floatwheel. There's also a Discord server where you can ask the FW community about any doubts you have. Once you set it up there's no need to re-do those steps. You can tweak the tunes to your liking using the VESC app, Float Control or Floaty.

On the VESC Tool app, I think it is called "Reverse stop" and needs to be enabled. It is not enabled by default.

Awesome video! So psyched for my ADV to arrive. Mind if I ask why you said you didn't completely trust the front footpad?

Thank you! One of the sensors was stuck so it was "always on". If you jump off at speed the board would not know you did and it would ghost. Same thing that happened with V1 GT footpads. This would have been a very bad point but Floatwheel already sent a replacement!

Tony emailed me back to help me with the same issue. If you go into app config, balance on the first tab, and then fault on the second tab. You can set your adc 1 and 2 switch voltage to 2.0. That fixed everything for me. No more sticking on the footpad. They are just super sensitive.

If you have the technical skill or a little more money I would say vesc xr (it's a better all-around board) if you want pure straight lining power at the best price floatwheel adv pro. Adding lights can be actually kind of tricky so FYI.

I just had my XR put together using the Thor300 controller/box kit from Fungineers and an 18s2p 50s battery from PickleWorks, and it was worth it. XR is such a great platform and honestly while you'd get used to the ADV, you wouldn't have any aftermarket support for anything really

@@PolarBear002 I was thinking about that setup, did the fungineer controller box work with the Onewheel hypercore motor or you went with the Fungineer motor as well? Thanks.

@@froggerc625 it does work with a hypercore, you'll have to change the motor connection tho, SF and HC are different. I personally bypassed a connector entirely and went for a gland and bullet connectors

Hi! This was very improvised and we did not record the speed here but it was probably somewhere around 10-15 mph... which doing so uphill is crazy. Next time we will record the speed!

Es lo más cercano a un EUC en formato Onewheel! Tiene mucho torque y autonomía. Te recomiendo los videos de @thefloatlife

Haces muy buenos puntos en cuanto a compradores extranjeros. FM no envia siquiera a Mexico. Si se jode mi PintX tengo que ver como la llevo yo hasta California. Por el precio ADV es la mejor opcion

No solo eso! También puedes comprar cualquier repuesto individual. Es una opción atractiva para cualquiera fuera de EEUU. Pronto se viene el kit PintV! Pendiente de eso.

@@MrPorter1983 Oh! Well I'm not a speed demon but I did get to 22 mph fairly easy and I felt like it could easily go faster than that.

Thanks for sharing. Riders have floatwheel here in uk, but I still don't know anyone with GT-S. Maybe too embarrassed to say, more money than sense. Vesc is the way. FM hates the community. #ffm #righttorepair

Horrible take my guy. FM may not be perfect, but they're doing a ton for the community and to say they hate it, you must not pay attention to the events that happen throughout the year. The only thing Floatwheel has done is deliver a product based on stolen ideas and talk shit on the company he cloned 🤷🏼‍♂️ there's been 0 contribution to the greater community from Floatwheel

Would have been good all along to shout about them, as well as everything else which is amazing, but no, they refuse to face the community. Weirdos. No innovation, the GT-S is a newer v1. While stifling any innovation without threat. Arseholes. They stole the idea, brought it to market. Woopy do. I'll send em a medal

@@PolarBear002 noone has a GT-S but plenty ha e floatwheel and diy Vescs. We have zero suport from FM in UK. Zero chance of me respecting them then. So floatwheel is doing far more than FM now for the community and innovation. Bye bye innit

I feel like weight would be a good thing on a vehicle like that, as long as the power is scaled up, You can't kick flip or ollie anyway If they were heavy enough then when the front dives you could jut ride out a Front Manual 🤔
