Our Yoongi is a genius. He nailed it ! KING 🤴👍 FYI, Daechwita is a Korean traditional music which is usually played when the ARMY marches or the king makes a royal progress. Yoongi made a sampling of Korean traditional royal music. He's a genius. Dae means big or large scale, Chwi means wind instrument, and Ta means percussion instrument. Since Daechwita is a martial music, there's no string instrument. Anyway, our Yoongi is the king.🤴👍

Min Yoongi is from the Yeoheung Min clan, one of the biggest royal clans in South Korea. He is related to Queen Wongyeong, Queen Inhyeon, Empress Myeongseong and Empress Sunmyeong. LITERALLY ROYALTY.

The symbolism here is him playing the old self (old ego self) and new self (reborn higher self). Killing the old ego self of materialism and worldly power and freed his new self (he says my time is worth more than money and spits on time itself, which is created by ego). In the beginning the rap lines look like a dialogue between the old and new self- each one is trying to one up the other, and it’s a (rap) battle of the wills. There is a split in the mind and the ego self has got to die for the spiritual rebirth.

He said in the lyrics that he has Gwanghae flow and blonde suga looks like a tyrant in this video. Gwanghae is king of Joseon Dynasty(Korea from 1392 to 1910) who was deposed in 1623 by the rebellion. Also there is a myth that Gwanghae was once changed by a person who looked just like him during his reign. I think this mv referred to this. Present agustd(black hair) who doesn't need any flexing killed past himself(blonde) who flexed "I sell half of million albums in a year"
