Put a board riser pipe at the levy and you can control water coming in/out of creek to pond

Just an fyi if you end up acquiring another pump or if someone is watching this video and is in need of hoses to do something similar, up here in Ontario we can get the old fire hoses from schools and and public building that are past expiration. Sometimes can get them for $20 a hose, and most of the time they’re brand new, they just can’t legally have them in the building if expired.

Mice will chew on the hose. They got my 3" 😅 also check the oil. My pump has a low oil shutoff so if you get off level it will shutdown.

It'd be an investment but if you're going to hang onto this lease for a while I'd do a liner. Underlayment and liner will hold great water. You could put soil back on top of it. You will probably spend the equivalent on fuel pretty quick. It'll pay for itself quickly.

Could be getting off leavl . Some of them pumps have a low oil shut off . If they get off leavel . They wont read right and shut off to save motor . They can be a headache at times . I fell for you

Next time the levee breaks put a couple of culverts in to allow the water to flow in and out and not go over the levee

You can remove the safety oil shut off too so it doesn’t keep shutting off on you.
