Significant flooding in Harrisonburg, VA found its way to JMU Campus, Home of the Dukes, on May 6, 2024. This is caused by heavy rain raising Blacks Run, the creek that goes into Newman Lake on JMU campus, to rise out of its banks - and cause the lake to do the same.
