Incredible thing about Floor is that she always sounds better live. This song is no exception

They kept showing the photographer because it is William Rutten, who also was a guest on this show to talk about his exhibition of portraits of famous musicians. He took the opportunity to shoot some pictures of Floor.

This was Floor's first attempt to create a solo sound and look for herself. The live performance was shot at a Dutch TV show. Also the first time Floor performed this song live. Remember before this new record Floor had never been a solo artist. She was always surrounded by a super talented band.

I have seen (on YT?) a full-length video of this tv show where they interview Floor before and after she sings, and the photographer shows some of the shots he got of Floor singing.

This was a live morning show. The people being shown were guests on the round table. The photographer was also a guest being interviewed, so he jumped to take some pictures of her. Because they were all guests, they were all being shown throughout. Very normal live TV.

I think her performance at NPO Radio 2 was even better. That was just after she sang the phone book, literally.

very nice reaction to Floor singing Fire....I think I saw her singing Fire in Hertme 2022 for the first time....and it was fantastic... just like all the songs she sings live...maybe you want to see Floor Jansen Fire live 17.04.2022 Paaspop Festival for yourself....I think that was the the first time singing that live maybe....thx for your good work 👌

It was the first time, at Paaspop. And the first song, of the show. And the first performance after Covid. Floor, the other musicians, the public, everybody was soooo happy. I was there an hour before the first singer started singing. Got my spot in the middle up front, and stayed there 😊. Floor also did duets with Henk there.

@@papa6036Yes Hertme was great !!! Floor sang Me Without You there, for the first time. We were talking outside the venue when she was rehearsing for the show in the afternoon and she started singing that new song. Everybody was silent immediately. 😊

From all the songs are n Floors album, I really haven't listened to one of the songs that I didn't like. I really enjoyed the song, "My Paragon" ....with the two young girls portraying Floor at different stages of Floors life. I guess because I looked up the lyrics and studied them to find out what was the story she was telling to the audience.

My favourite live version with an excellent studio version. Not my favourite on the album, as I like the quieter Hope most of all But Floor as always sings flawlessly live. There are other TV show performances but this hit me right away.
