It took me a LONG time to make this video. Since all the videos were out of sync, I had to adjust one by one. Also, I had to tackle the copyright issue and not make the video too choppy. @@grahamkey8496 Thats weird, ive been to a bajillion shows, but never saw the mighty Zep! Timing just never lined up right. I'm on a walker these days and it would be tough, but i will do a road trip to see NW. They dont come to Tucson or Phoenix, so would prob have to go to LA or something. I'm waiting for the next album and tour and that will be a high priority for me. Who knos might be the last time to be able to see them. We'd all love to have 5 more records come out, but reality says prob not. Guess its all up to Tuomas. Im guessing he'll make albums till he dies, like most great composers do. 🤞🤞🤞

i can only recommend to everyone to watch this full season "sing meinen song". 8 great artists some of them slightly underrated. I don't know when RTL+ will take off the "premium"sing - however it would be worth to bye the access at least for one month, only for this season. I expected that they all would fail or getting pale beside Floor. And no question - she is the queen of this season. Maybe of all 9 season until today. But beside her all the others seamed to grow and shine more and more. Maybe thats one of her very special qualities. She could sing everyone "on the wall" but she gives evryone room to shine. instead. Floore's episode is great because everyone of them put alle they had in this one song for her. Especially Cluesoes, Johannes' and Calvin Jones and of cause her own performance are stored in my mind for a long time. I discovered in every single episode at least one or two additional songs beside Floors which was great, moving or surprising as well. And I like it so much when the others are so overwhelmed, moved to tears, uncontrolled laughing, are astonished and fighting with their emotions and gooesebumps... every time when she is singing.

slightly underrated? most of them are not even known in germany, by anyone... i don`t know, why they put someone like floor together with those singers. the only name i heard before was clueso, and i can`t even name one song from him. it`s like you put pavarotti together with kübelböck or guildo horn...

@@generalsaufenberg4931 Well, yes they are well known?! They all play for thousands and thousands of people in stadions. (Except Elif & Lotte.) Lotte was the only one I hadn't heard of before because she's not that often on the Radio as all the others. It was more surprising to see Floor here, because she is one almost no one in Germany outside the Metalscene knows. And even inside the scene it's pretty much guaranteed that not many people know her by name or a song from her by name. They maybe know she is the woman from Nightwish and that's it. I know those artists and I don't even listen to them outside the radio in my car on my way to work. So just because you don't know them, doesn't mean they aren't big in Germany. -.-

I love this woman. Finally saw her live at Pinkpop yesterday for the first time. Best performance I saw from her since the legendary Wacken. She sounds warmer, more nurturing now than back then, and , doh, she is a Mom now. No more cool, mysterious, distant angel in her mannerisms and in her sound. Maybe this is what some do not like.But it still was the best vocal performance I ever witnessed in more than 300 concerts during my life. Sure no complaints from me here ;)

I have not heard anyone say that, but if someone says so it is a pity for him, this woman is constantly developing and this program helped her in this, we can even guess how Floor would sound rapping :D

@@patrykmarkiewicz6287 It's been said about the songs from Wacken 2013 that she doesn't perform them like that any more. But that's because that performance was a one-of-a-kind, captured on video for eternity. And now Floor sings songs in a way that she couldn't achieve technically even at Wacken. Anyway, very few singers stay at their peak of their powers for more than a few years. Considering female singers, I can think only of Aretha Franklin, Celine Dion and Ann Wilson who have stayed at the top for 20 years plus. And now they are joined by Floor, who I'm sure will continue to dazzle us for another 20 years to come.

To be absolutely clear...No slight/shade towards Floor...but...Last I knew...she really doesn't speak German...Amazed that she can sing phonetically well enough to still be AMAZING... Fun Compilation! 👊

She learned German for Sing meinen Song, and she did a good job. Sometimes she struggled with finding words speaking german, but she understood almost everything. Ans she became much compliments for her German in a couple of episodes

Virtually every dutch person speaks a little German. Basic German is taught in high school for several years and german TV reception is available on everyones cable TV. But to sing in German as good as that is amazing. Not that many foreign singers sing in German even though Germany has the biggest audience of Europe.

The mood during that season of the show was absolutely incredible, with the absolute respect the different musicians had for each other, at least one of them talking about taking some of floors advice on singing, it was such a pleasure to watch. i was just smiling from ear to ear most of the time except certain songs and a lot of Lottes episode where i was just bawling
