Save your carpet for the yard. If you have weeds you can layout flower beds with carpet

Tack strips take forever to remove. Been there and it’s a dirty time consuming job.

Why do laminate if there’s real hardwood in lots of this area. Omgosh I’d finish with hardwood and stain all to match. All this fake laminate does not last and it does look like pictures of wood🤦‍♀️

Why should she feel guilty because she’s redoing her hours that she bought with her own money??? You have no idea what charity work she may do at all.
