This game reminds me how hard we need a big budget Italian-Horror Zombie game with all the wacky tobacky plotlines, ridiculously vibrant gore and excessive eye-gouging.

Also, the gun only works if you hit them in the head. I thought the game tells you this but I could be totally wrong. It’s been awhile. It does suck that shooting anywhere else doesn’t show any sort of visual indication

I hope both of you are referring to The Beyond from Lucio Fulci. The doctor being inconsistent with his shots on the zombies is both frustrating and funny as hell.

I played it very recently. There's a note in the room you find the gun in that tells you that you need to shoot them in the head. I believe it also tells you how to aim.

Puppet Combo really captured the style of 70s and 80s zombie horror films from Italian directors. The colors around the atmosphere, really captures the mood and dread of those movies.

Aim, matt! AIM! I'm only really peeved because of how much matt would have loved it if he hadn't missed the note telling him how to aim and to shoot them in the head.

You have to headshot zombies. Maybe they should’ve included the famous clip from Night of the Living Dead “destroy the brain.” Knives are your health, each time you’re grabbed you knife a zombie. No knives and you die.

I'll be honest I find the inability to interact with stuff while holding a gun is def the game's biggest flaw. Especially in the final level when you're scrounging to get as much ammo as you can and avoiding zombos. It's one change I think would really improve the game if you could just interact while having your gun out. Maybe if we ever get a squeakquel.

I dunno. It made me think about when I needed to have the gun ready and when I needed to find items. It took some getting used to, and I definitely missed some things at first because I forgot to put my gun away. Maybe a better idea would be if the dot indicating an item showed up while you had your gun out but you still need to put it away to pick it up.

The problem was you can only do Headshots. That's why the enemies weren't dying. There was plenty f ammo for yo uto have killed everyone (except Bucket Helmet bcus you're supposed to run from him)

You can hold the right mouse button to aim down the sights. Only headshots work.

It's been awhile since I've watched this game and just thought you were having incredibly bad luck with the game but it turns out headshots are the only way to kill zombies and you would have had a much more easier time if you would have used the aim down sights feature (as this is the main way I've seen anyone actually kill them for the majority of the time). Personally, think it's kinda dumb that you can't just kill them by shooting them enough times or at the very least knock them back temporally. Guess they just wanted the enemies to be incredibly imposing.

That makes sense that why Matt can't kill any of the zombies. I thought that it was a glitch or something, but shooting them on the head is the only way to kill them.

Oh, my crap! I just streamed this on twitch a couple days ago. It's a pretty good game. I had a few jump scares. I didn't finish it though... It gets kinda confusing later. I'm excited to see if you got through it...

Yeah, gonna add to the chorus of comments here. You gotta shoot the zombies in the head, Matt. There's even a note early on in the apartment section that details this. I would like to see you play more of the game with this info in mind & possibly even finish it. This game is a hell of a trip.
